How I cope with my own abandonment wounds

Published December 17, 2022 by tindertender

By @Theholisticpsyc

Abandonment wounds are wound we carry from:

  • being emotionally neglected by people we love
  • not being seen or acknowledged by society
  • having loved removed from us when we were “bad” as punishment

Abandonment wounds are carried within the subconscious mind in the of core beliefs.

These core beliefs include:

  • everyone I love will leave or hurt me in some way
  • i must be perfect in order to receive love
  • something about me is broken or unworthy
  • i don’t belong
  • no one cares about what I think or feel

The subconscious mind works to confirm these core beliefs.

Always looking for evidence that we don’t belong, that people will leave us, or that we’re not good enough.

Our abandonment wounds can:

  1. Create situations where we constantly procrastinate: this stems from a core belief that if I don’t get out of my comfort zone or don’t actually show up, I can’t fail. Or be seen as flawed/unworthy.

Obsessive achievement or workaholism: this stems from a core belief that if I’m constantly working or achieving I can bypass uncomfortable emotions and finally be “good enough.”

When my abandonment wounds come up, I’m flooded with intense emotions and racing thoughts.

Sometimes they come out of nowhere.

I can go to worse case scenarios (crisis thinking), or dissociation (shut down, numbness)

5 things I do when my abandonment wounds come up:

  1. Pause: being aware of this helps you understand that these are thoughts and feelings from past wounding, not “truths.” Pause before making any decisions or falling into negative coping mechanisms.

2. I remind myself I’m safe: when I’m having fearful thoughts, I know my inner child is afraid. My inner child didn’t have adults to soothe me or to help me work through difficult emotions. I put my hand on my heart, take a deep breathe & say: I AM SAFE, NOW.

3. I move my body: intense thoughts and emotions need an outlet. When we’re stuck in our thinking mind, moving the body helps us work through the emotions. I always feel better afterwards.

4. I shift my breathing: slow, steady breaths from the body send a signal of safety to the nervous system. I either stretch or take a quick walk with intentional deep breathing. It’s incredible how this shifts the state of mind.

5. I cry: grieving is taboo in our culture. We’re conditioned to “get up and keep going” at all costs. When past emotions surface, I let them come up. I always feel more relaxed and centered when I let the tears flow rather than covering them up.

Comfort vs Reality

Published December 15, 2022 by tindertender

The crazy you may think I am is only an unwillingness to see how I see … and that’s ok. Just please, don’t try to reformat me. Ask me to stay away if you can’t accept me and my truth. It’d be kinder than your continuous rejection, and trying to make me something I’ve expanded beyond.

I’m doing my best not to go back in the box. It’s strange, this expansion. So many want you to shrink and go back into the box of limitation and “comfort”.

No thank you. I’d rather drag you kicking and screaming into the reality I see …. Hence, our friction. Oh the joys of loving and living.

Darkness Withers and Dissolves

Published December 13, 2022 by tindertender

By @shiftingtimeline

We are transitioning through the dissolution of a depraved satanic consciousness dwelling in the unseen fallen realms that has been tagging into the blind spots of the individual and collective psyche to generate the loosh to keep itself alive.

We have essentially been used as conduits to self sabotage due to soul fragmentation which generates a shadow body that keeps energy running reversals into the fallen realms.

This has been happening unconsciously and as a program written into a digressed genetic code, engineered over multiple ancestral cycles that are culminating at this pinnacle juncture as past, present and future come together to rewrite the timelines free from consciousness enslavement.

For this transition to take place, the individual and collective shadow must surface to the light of consciousness to be healed/integrated. We are in the Age of Information of which there are different two pathways, one of which transforms knowledge through the heart to embody the true divine kingdom of heaven from within.

Knowledge in absence of heart is the path of the false light. This is a phase in the evolutionary process which most of us will likely transition through, until we relinquish control of the ego mind and become the vessel for spirit to work through in service of the wider evolution beyond our own personal interests, whether that’s the need to be right, to save the world, gain recognition/power, or profit materialistically from our pursuits.

These temptations are rife in the collective awakening field at the moment, as we come into greater awareness of spiritual laws that can activate great power. Used irresponsibly, we pervert these laws for personal interest, which constitutes a form of black magic and keeps us disconnected from re-anointing with the purity of our essence.

This is like another test to demonstrate how much we trust in our higher nature to keep us safe and provide what we need to continue along our highest expression in fulfilment of our souls covenant, in this lifetime and beyond.

When we are still governed by unconscious fear, the doorway to the divine through the heart closes and we remain in servitude to the lower will that seeks external gratification. We substitute organic consciousness for an artificial intelligence that mimics our creative power and keeps us tethered in lower virtual reality expressions.

What we will eventually come to realise is that we are never alone when truth and connection is with us. As co-creative soul collectives we are never in a state of lack or unworthiness, because together we are serving the collective evolution. When we misuse our awareness to manipulate or harm another, we are only doing that harm to ourselves, and necessitating more karmic evolutionary lessons until we are embodied in this realisation.

This takes a level of spiritual maturity to move beyond the need to reap vengeance for perceived wrongdoings perpetrated against us, or to engage in conflict by asserting our will and authority over others. Once we honour free will in accordance with the Law of One there is no longer the need to return to the obsolete ways of separation consciousness. We have transformed internally and have seen this mirrored back through our external experience.

Darkness withers and dissolves in the light of this purity because we are no longer feeding it through unconscious consent. We have starved the imposter forces from our field. This way we can move uninhibited along the ascension pathway, free to birth reality from the imagination of the personal and collective mind in communion with the forces of nature, of which we are inseparable.

Gut Health

Published December 12, 2022 by tindertender

By @tenomnft

Herbs for detoxing the gut are a must, our gut is the foundation of everything, if our gut is imbalanced our immune system won’t function properly making it harder to rid ourselves of toxins.

Some recommendations:

astragalus root – boosts immunity and supports liver function; helps to flush out toxins from the body. take 1-3 grams of powdered root daily in water or tea.

cayenne pepper – reduces inflammation, flushes out toxins and increases blood flow. add it to soups or teas and take 1/2 teaspoon daily.

ginger – regulates digestion and can lower cholesterol levels; also aids in cancer prevention. use fresh ginger, grated into hot water and added to foods. take 1-2 grams daily.

turmeric – lowers LDL “bad” cholesterol (this is good) while boosting HDL “good” cholesterol. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties as well as antioxidant effects.

turmeric may decrease risk of certain cancers including colon and prostate cancer. take 1/4 cup turmeric powder daily in water or food.

dandelion – rich in vitamins A, C and B complex; diuretic that cleanses your body of toxins and excess fluid. drink dandelion tea several times a day by steeping 1 tsp dried leaves per cup of boiling water for 10 minutes.

fennel – stimulates digestive juices and appetite. Take 2 capsules twice daily.

garlic – supports liver function and fights infection. take 500 mg three times daily.

echinacea – boosts immune system and is known to naturally aid in digestion. take 4 capsules daily.

lavender – improves sleep and relieves anxiety. take 1 drop in capsule form before bedtime.

During the holidays we’re more frequent to consume excessive foods, indulging in all of our favorite treats -that combined with the seasonal changes can weigh the body down. it’s important to take optimal care of our health to keep us vitalized during the slow seasons.

Always consult your doctor or physician before incorporating herbs into your daily regimen, especially if you’re using pharmaceutical medicine or suffer from any autoimmune diseases.

Morning Message

Published December 11, 2022 by tindertender

I woke with this visual.

The meaning I garner from it is the upper realm is at 100% while the lower realms are being disengaged from the upper, a great separation.

Then I got on social media once I made my tea to see Melissa had received a message as well!

I remain seated here, after the gifting of breakfast kibbles to my fur kids.

I am grateful to the Star Nation, to our collective, comprised of many races and species.

I love you.

Thank you for being here.

Doing the Inner Work

Published December 8, 2022 by tindertender

By @Theholisticpsyc

The most important part of doing the inner work is learning how deal with being triggered.

HERE’S HOW TO START:

We all get emotionally triggered.

Being triggered is a natural part of being human.

Many of us are on autopilot, reacting to our triggers. Transformation happens when we learn to understand triggers and process them in a new way.

Our subconscious mind stores every experience we’ve had in life.

If you’re like me, and have few childhood memories, it doesn’t mean the memories don’t exist. It means, we can’t recall them. Our body remembers them.

When we’re triggered, we’re experiencing our emotional past in the present moment. Smells, sounds, facial expressions, social interactions, and people’s responses can all create triggers.

I am emotionally triggered when:

  • I have a strong sensation in the body (racing heart, tight chest, feeling like I’m going to cry, feeling shut down)
  • my thoughts become racing
  • shame thoughts come up “I’m an idiot” “I never do anything right”
  • I start chronically comparing myself to others
  • I look for something to numb or distract me (food, social media, alcohol, drama cycles etc.)
  • I feel helpless or trapped
  • I dissociate (physically present but mentally gone)
  • I get defensive

HOW TO UNDERSTAND YOUR TRIGGERS:

  1. LEARN HOW TO SELF WITNESS: self witnessing is the act of viewing yourself from a neutral place. Notice what you think, how you react to different situations, and what people bring up different emotions in you.
  1. NOTICE BODY SENSATIONS: the feelings and sensations in your body when we’re triggered can be intense. It’s helpful to name these sensations to ourselves to stay grounded during a trigger.

ex: “right now I feel my chest getting tight”

  1. PRACTICE THE PAUSE: we all have “go-to” coping mechanisms when we’re triggered. To create new responses we have to practice having them.

Ex: Your partner makes a comment that brings you back to a shame-based feeling you had as a child.

Instead of habit reacting (lashing out), practice the pause.

We do this by breathing and allowing the emotions and sensations to come up.

  1. GET CURIOUS: ask yourself: “why?”

Ex: You read a post on social media and instantly feel angry and shame comes up.

After practicing the pause, you take a deep breathe and ask yourself: “What about this has me responding so strongly?”

With consistent practice the answer will become more and more clear. You’ll also be able to see patterns of things that typically trigger you.

Ex: Any time you see someone post about their weight or body size you’re triggered because you were made fun of for your weight or physical appearance growing up.

  1. PRACTICE SELF SOOTHING:

Self soothing is how we regulate our nervous system and calm our body after a trigger.

Self soothing can look like: taking a quick walk, doing some deep belly breaths, journaling your emotions, playing music, or anything else that releases the emotional energy.

Understanding and working through your triggers creates more emotional resilience and empowerment

With consistent practice, you’ll be amazed at how differently you respond to the world around you.

Detox ~ Fulvic Acid

Published December 6, 2022 by tindertender

I was doing detox with zeolite powder. After a few days I was sitting in my living room quietly and Spirit mentioned taking Fulvic Acid instead. I recommend it these days when the skies are filled with nano particulates of metals and other toxins.

Wholeness

“The irony is that we attempt to disown our difficult stories to appear more whole or more acceptable, but our wholeness – even our wholeheartedness – actually depends on the integration of all of our experiences, including the falls.”
