Into the New

In life I have learned not to take things too seriously. The slanderous rumors, the defamation of character, the theft and willingness to keep anything of value from me, life was one of scarcity, trial and tribulation. Friendless, partnerless … and the world did it’s best to break me. You can probably relate.

In my experience, i didn’t take anything too seriously, for to do so would be to relinquish the open mindedness required for solution creation. Or so it felt.

These days folks are going to need to learn to take it a little more seriously. Recognition is afoot. Your essence and effort is noted, and a reward, or new role and compensation may soon arrive.

Teaching the youth, molding minds … it begins with one’s own personal mental and emotional stability. If there isn’t stability, chaos will be the result.

You’re going to need to be an steady now.
You’re coming into leadership.
The time of childish frivolity may be over, unless it’s recess time. 😉

A new cycle begins.

The shedding has occurred.

It’s time for rebuilding.

The Firmament

The sky is blue because it’s the waters of the heavens. The previous deluge was caused by a hole being punctured in the firmament. Ninmah swore her children would never be drowned again. You see Elon’s rockets exploding in a burst when it hits the firmament? They’re trying to drain the heavenly waters, create a breech.

Can You Help Us?

Turtle woman is making an offering of wampum to the plants of the river.

“Please”, she asks, “can you help us?”

She explains how we need the rivers to be clean and she acknowledges the plants as the cleaners of the river.

She speaks to the wampum and thanks them also for the light they bring the world.

She talks to the plants for a long time. Telling them what is happening. She explains that the two legged have lost their ways. But there are still some who remember. She tells them about the babies that are coming who need clean water. She cries for her grandchildren.

The plants, being loving and generous, wait for her to finish speaking and then they tell her they have heard her prayers. They agree to help. They are gentle. They never have an unkind word to say about anyone.

From the shore a young person sings a turtle song. Unbeknownst to them, turtle woman is pleading for the world only a short distance below at the bottom of the river.

Everything is Amazing!

Everything is phenomenal; everything is incredible; never treat life casually. To be spiritual is to be amazed.

Prayer begins at the edge of emptiness. Wonder rather than doubt is the root of all knowledge. Just to be is a blessing. Just to live is holy. We can never sneer at the stars, mock the dawn, or scoff at the totality of being.

Self-respect is the root of discipline: The sense of dignity grows with the ability to say no to oneself. The primary purpose of prayer is not to make requests. The primary purpose is to praise, to sing, to chant. Because the essence of prayer is a song, and man cannot live without a song.

When I was young, I admired clever people. Now that I am old, I admire kind people. Know that every deed counts, that every word is power… Above all, remember that you must build your life as if it were a work of art.”

Earth CPR ~ Let the Mountains Talk, Let the Rivers Run

“The earth is a living, throbbing organism. It needs CPR ~ Conservation-Preservation-Restoration ~ on a regular basis:

“Conservation: We’ve got to use our resources rationally. We haven’t been all that rational these last brief millennia.

“Preservation: We’ve got to preserve what we can never replace. That’s what wilderness is. That’s what biodiversity is, and we’re getting rid of both faster than anybody has ever done.

“Restoration: We’re bright enough to build back, to restore the rivers we’ve dammed, the forests we’ve clearcut, the seas we’ve bloodied, polluted, and strip-mined with drift nets; the mountains we’ve bolted and bulldozed, the deserts we’ve spoiled or mistakenly created; the ozone layer we’ve punctured. We can’t restore a lot of things that are gone, but we can certainly restore human integrity.”
