Morning: Today is a day to focus on ambition. What do I want to achieve? How far do I want to go? How high do I want to climb? What is keeping me from reaching the heights, from standing on the pinnacle? Today I will assess what I aim for and whether my aim is true. I have the tools to remove my obstacles, and achieve all things with good intention.
Evening: I know that I did my best today to focus on my ambitions. Tonight I will rest knowing that I made progress towards achieving things that are important to me, whether they are big or small.
I called the seller and was told it was a cash only offer and that “I’m sure that takes you off the table”.
Don’t you ever underestimate a hard working black man. I saw the house last week and when I walked in I knew I was home.
The house was built in 1820 for the Russell family who owned the cotton mill in town. Slavery was still legal. When the agent asked me why I wanted such a large house I said it was “a generational move”.
I know this house is bigger than me. I wish I could’ve told my ancestors when they were breaking their back in 1820 to build this house that 200 years later a free gay black man was going to own it and fill it with love and find a way to say their name even when 200 years later they still thought I would be “off the table”.
We are building our own tables.
I’ve never been prouder to be a black man.
Come to my White House any time. I can’t wait to have you! Glory to God in the highest.
Establish a spiritual routine. Your skin may be clear but your aura is ashy, your chakras are weak & your soul is not on fleek. People have become so accustom to winning materialistically that they have no clue that winning spiritually trumps everything. Prioritize.
For Healthy Mental Health:
Thick skin Airplane mode Focus No apologies for personal choices Space Close friends Noise-cancelling headphones Sleep Proper Nutrition Healthy living environment Clearly defined boundaries Assertiveness Self-love Quick exits from toxic settings
If someone shows you they don’t give a fuck about you – stop going back to double check.
Reminders When Manifesting:
•Always stay positive •Say it like it’s already done •Don’t spend time thinking about anything opposite to what you want •Meditate on what you want •See, smell, taste, hear & feel it •If it’s real in your brain – it’ll be real in the physical
We all deserve some good after all the shit we’ve been through.
What you don’t heal in your singleness will spread like a disease in your togetherness.
When you become a diamond – you’ll understand why life had to apply all that pressure.
Never confuse what you’re offered for what you’re worth.
The ego hurts you like this: you become obsessed with the one person who does not love you & blind to the rest who do.
Eliminate whoever & whatever doesn’t help you evolve.
Not all of us grew up having role models – many of us grew up around people we didn’t want to be like & were exposed to shit we’d never want to be around. Although we weren’t dealt the right cards – we can always re-shuffle the deck for a better outcome. Trust & believe that.
Keep pushing forward, stay on track & be positive. No matter what kind of rough spot you’re in mentally, physically or emotionally – it’s all temporary. Be gentle with yourself.
Growth isn’t always about money or status. Sometimes the best growth is within you – the way you think, the way you feel, the way you treat others, the way you move & the way you treat yourself.
You always face the greatest struggle, the greatest opposition & the greatest discouragement right before the breakthrough.
Make a commitment to learn something new. Have you always wanted to knit, roller skate, skydive, or play an instrument? Try it! Be a beginner and see what calls to you.
One of the secrets to staying young is to always do things you don’t know how to do, to keep learning. ~ Ruth Reichl
Sometimes we stop ourselves from doing new things because we want to do it “right” right away. We’re not willing to be messy or clumsy, or to make mistakes. But trying to always do things right can make us rigid, and never trying something new can keep us isolated in our old routines.
Imagine yourself looking at the world with a beginners mind, and being willing to try new things. This means you are also willing to be messy, clumsy, and imperfect. That’s what beginners do.
