They taught you the heart was just a glorified meat pump. That it squeezes and pushes blood like some crude mechanical device. A hydraulic engine made of flesh. That is what they want you to believe. Because if you buy into that primitive lie, you never ask deeper questions.
But it is false. It has always been false. And the real science proves it.
Dr Francisco Torrent-Guasp, a Spanish cardiac researcher, discovered what the textbooks refuse to acknowledge, that the heart is not a pump. The lawsuit
Plaintiffs: The Ogale and Bille communities, represented by King Emere Godwin Bebe Okpabi, filed the lawsuit in the UK, arguing that the Nigerian legal system was not a viable option for receiving justice.
Allegations: The communities claim Shell’s operations have caused decades of severe pollution, rendering their land, water, and livelihoods unusable.
Shell’s defense: Shell maintains that the vast majority of spills are caused by criminal activity, such as illegal oil refining and sabotage. It argues that it should not be held liable for the actions of third parties.
Legal and environmental context
UK court decision: A UK judge ruled that Shell can be sued in England for the pollution, finding that a new legal claim could arise each day the oil remains uncleaned, despite the “five-year limitation period” on legal claims.
Environmental impact: The pollution has led to widespread contamination, including an estimated 8cm layer of oil on drinking water in some areas, making it undrinkable. The pollution has also devastated fishing and farmlands, destroying habitats and causing severe economic hardship.
Previous settlements: In a 2009 settlement related to a different case, Shell paid $15.5 million to resolve claims of human rights abuses against the Ogoni people, though it maintained the payment was a humanitarian gesture and not an admission of guilt.
Trial dates: A trial to address the remaining issues is scheduled to begin in March 2027.

I cannot treat these men as though they hold authority in alignment with the Most High God. I simply can’t.
There are far too many religious, and non-religious men (and women) living as threat to children … to society in general.
And they get angry, abusive, and want to punish others for seeing it and denying them any kind of “admiration” or respect.
You know what sucks?
Lateral violence.
Not from strangers who know nothing about me…
but from our own people.
The comments, the digs, the policing, the “you’re not doing it right,” the “you don’t look Lakota enough,” the “who taught you.”
The jealousy.
The bitterness.
The tearing down.
And it’s wild, because that behavior?
That’s colonizer behavior.
It’s exactly what they wanted us to do to each other.
Break each other’s spirits.
Doubt each other’s teachings.
Destroy each other’s confidence.
Attack each other’s identity.
Make sure we never trust, never uplift, never celebrate one another.
Our ancestors didn’t survive genocide, boarding schools, forced removals, starvation, outlawed ceremonies, and relentless erasure…
so that we could turn around and harm each other the same way.

And the hate I get for simply existing as who I was born to be is unreal.
But here’s what I know and what my elders taught me:
When people attack your identity, your family, your authenticity, your appearance—
they’re speaking from their own wounds.
Their own scarcity.
Their own disconnection.
I refuse to carry that.
I refuse to swallow their hurt like it’s mine.
I refuse to dim my voice to make someone more comfortable in their misery.
I was taught to stand strong, to stand in truth, to keep going even when others want to drag me down.
So to all that lateral violence aimed at me lately?
All that weird, ugly energy trying to knock me off my path?
Nah.
I’m not shrinking.
I’m not stopping.
I’m not breaking.
I’ll keep teaching.
Keep creating.
Keep building.
Keep uplifting our people.
Keep doing the work.
Because that’s what a good relative does.

Real strength lies in choosing one. The best one. The most worthy. And building depth over time. Collecting mediocrity is not “alpha” – it’s the move of an emotionally stunted boy afraid to grow up.
