Meditate with Batman

The wildest thing happened awhile back.

A man was sitting with back against a sign post at an intersection. He was wearing a Batman mask, a half faced mask. Sitting there, he was resting his wrists on knees, head tilted back in what appeared to be meditation. He had no sign. Passing, I saw his beard was salt and pepper, well trimmed. It freaked me out a little, what with white hats and black hats and talk of Batman and who knows what.

Today, I went through the same intersection. As I slowly approached the intersection I saw a man wearing a Batman mask. He was furiously whittling on a walking stick, taking the bark off or something. As I approached, I rolled down the window. He walked over and I handed him a tuna/cracker combo pack and told him I liked his mask. His beard was yellowed, matted even. He was high spirited (not stoned). He thanked me happily, wished me a happy new year as I drove off.

I sit here, wondering about the first man I saw. Can I trust my own vision? 🧐😳🤔😉

Perhaps the first vision was my shape-shifting guardian Angel.

One can dream. 💯🥰💥

One can build this into one’s personal reality. And this, I choose to do.

Creating Self

There’s a difference between seeing an other, admiring them, then copying them trying to imitate their existence in every way, shedding any sense of self … and … incorporating into the neural highways of one’s own mind, character and Self., those qualities which instill a greatness being birthed and expanded into an ever increasing “big bang” development of personal awareness.

You are a master at studying your environment. You take on the good qualities of those around you, and you leave the negative behind. When you’ve learned all you are able, you extract yourself. Then you implant self into another environment, and glean those new-found qualities in others, examples which can assist personal growth and expansion.

If people are unwilling to present self transparently, there’s nothing to embody, nothing of truth being presented as an offering, of a particular life. There’s nothing offered to present a growth opportunity in the environment.

So you go to another source, another meet-up, church, social function. Over and over again, you flow into situations and groupings, absorbing everything your discover that sits right with your soul … learning as much as you can, about as much as you can.

People are fascinating! There are so many unique ways of approaching life, and a never-ending example of greatness … all one needs do is pay attention, and learn.

We don’t have to take on every characteristic of those in our environment at any given time. We get to choose the building blocks from the examples we fill our environment with.

As the year’s final chapter unfolds in silence,
I stand amidst twilight’s embrace,
Contemplating life’s tapestry, its vibrant dance
Of joy, of sorrow, in the introspective space.

Within me, a sacred fire burns bright,
Kindled by life’s enigmatic prose,
A tranquil warmth, a flickering light,
Nurturing love that in quiet grows.

In this season, when shadows stretch, yearning,
When discord’s rife among mankind,
My spirit soars, verses turning
Despair to dreams, hope intertwined.

In these waning hours, my heart’s sole desire,
Is an inner glow to kindle our spirit’s spire,
Casting forth light, steadfast, bold,
In light’s sanctuary, where heartbeats hold.

One earth, one heart-tapestry, united stance,
Against hardship’s gales, in unity, we dance.
Let not spirits be chained by sorrow’s deep,
