In The Four Agreements, Ruiz writes about the domestication of the human by means of punishment and reward. “The domestication is so strong that at a certain point in our lives we no longer need anyone to domesticate us”, Ruiz explains and lays out how we create a comfort zone of lies to uphold this domestication. We rather go in denial, he suggests, than giving up the lie which would mean death. The solution? According to Ruiz, we agreed to the domestication and lies. Hence, the way out is new agreements.
The first agreement: Be impeccable with your word. Speak from love, integrity, joy, harmony. No self rejection. No self judgement.
Embrace the Masculine ~ Within ourselves there are two aspects to our nature – the masculine and the feminine. Here in the present, you need to embrace the masculine aspect of your nature and let it guide your steps. Now is time to be assertive, to act with authority, and stand up for both yourself and your truths. Fight for what you believe in. Do not allow others to tell you that you must not or cannot. But remember, whilst you allow your masculine self be dominant, you need to temper your assertiveness and determination with gentleness and compassion.
Love without Condition ~ Do you often find it easier to give advice to others, whilst hiding from the truth that the advice you give is advice that you, yourself, neglect to follow? Do you find it easier to nurture others and show them kindness and compassion? It is time to be kind and gentle with yourself; to love you – strengths and weaknesses – without reservation or condition. Nurture yourself. Be kind to yourself, for you are deserving of the same unconditional care and love that you give to others.
You were Born to Create ~ You were blessed with the ability to create with thought, intention, action and emotion. Be conscious of your power and aware of what your actions and reactions create within and around you. Cherish the gift and use it in both a wise and productive manner. Create beauty, and inspire a desire within others to do the same. Create a future that both fulfills and delights. Do what you were born to do.
Nourish the Soul ~ Drink in life. Use your senses to explore your world – to see, touch, taste, smell, hear and experience all that is within you and around you. Your journey through life is meant to be a sensory experience. Your life is meant to be a rainbow of color, full of emotion and sound. It is not meant to be a bland, tasteless existence of simply black and white. Be sensual. Explore yourself and your world every day and nourish your soul with every moment.
Seek Your Answers Within ~ If you find yourself confused, your intuition and inner voice drowned out by the answers, wisdom and advice of others then it is time for you to step away. Withdraw to a place of solitude. Like the bear, it is time for you to hibernate, to go within and seek the void, and to embrace the silence that dwells within. Within that silence are the answers to your questions, and because they are answers born of your truths, they will be answers that move you forward, instead of holding you still.
Be Without Malice ~You have been hurt, disrespected or disappointed by others. Another has let you down or betrayed you. It is normal and natural to experience feelings of anger, hurt and disappointment. To feel any and all emotion is natural, but you have a choice always in how you respond. Do not allow your hurt to become a source of infection. Acknowledge it. Learn from it and your experiences, and then let the anger, hurt and disappointment go. Do not allow them to inspire retaliatory acts born of malice or spite.
As I drove to the ocean I tuned into the energy & immediately saw white angel feathers falling everywhere. The angels are all around us.
They are here in numbers I have never seen before.
This indicates to me there is a very significant event on the horizon they are here to assist us with. I hear the angels are making gossamer nets to hold us in so nobody falls in despair. They are here to support and uplift us.
They are singing and their notes are anchoring in healing frequencies of love.
The second image I see are another group of angels bowling as I have viewed before. However this time, I see them bowl a couple of strikes and then they gather all of their equipment and leave the bowling alley. This indicates part of their journey is completed and they are ready to move onto the next mission of helping to build the gilded society on earth.
In the final image I see a Native American male riding a horse holding a flagpole as he rides. The flag on the pole is red, white and blue but it is not an American flag. The symbols are different. I hear this flag represents all of the Americas and that he rides to unify this part of the world. Then I see him standing next to a giant tree. He throws what looks like tobacco in the wind and gives homage to the Great Spirit. He says this tree represents the unification of humanity.
This is why the ancestors are here. They are preparing us for the next phase in our evolution, the time of the great peace. He says this is something so many have experienced many lifetimes to prepare for, to witness the birth of a new nation and a new world where the children of the Great Spirit will unite under a flag of peace.
He says it is a return to the rule of the children of the light. He signifies war will be no more I see a white buffalo calf as a symbol of the peace that is arriving on earth. With this peace our birthrights from the Creator will be returned to us.
