Our Hearts, Becoming …

Becoming what?

These days it is easier to believe those we encounter are of a cruel nature, rather than a kind nature.

When did the shift occur? When did it become foolish to leave keys in cars, or the front door to the house unlocked?

It seems to me the late seventies and early eighties were the final years for relaxed freedoms … at least here in the USA.

Are we a paranoid people?

Do we look for the bad in everything, including our self?

“I have held much to be true, which I now discover to be false; I have no reason to suppose anything to be more certain. Possibly everything that I conceive and believe is false. What then is true; what is certain?”
~The Secret Path, by Paul Brunton

She spoke, “There is a beacon becoming”
And I dove into a sea of stormy winds wail
Their might was mighty swift and running
(Every which way)
“Stay with it, child you’re changing”
She sang

Sister sun your ivory tongue is flowin’ like the waters run and all my thoughts jump into
Feathers abound fall on the page down, feathers abound fall on the pages
Sister sun your inner lungs are spinning shapes alive and wove in vision
Praying, pray our spirit, turn, our heart’s’ll become

(And what these words do
And what these words do…)

Sure as flight (and a dash unruly), and faster than the breath you’re heaving
Your wild (as a righteous fury) can be led or be leading
Inside, what a maze of ladders, so you look and look a while (every which way)

This fire, by the burn of-our grandmothers, shapes the way of your choosing
So stay, stay with it, daughter you’re creating this
And every sound you give make sure you’re aiming it

Sister sun your ivory tongue is flowin’ like the waters run and all my thoughts jump into
Feathers abound fall on the page down, feathers about fall on the pages
Sister sun your inner lungs are spinning shapes alive and wove in vision
Praying, pray our spirit, turn, our heart’s’ll become…

Sister sun your ivory tongue is flowin’ like the waters run and all my thoughts jump into
Feathers abound fall on the page down, feathers about fall on the pages
Sister sun your inner lungs are spinning shapes alive and wove in vision
Praying, pray our spirit, turn, our heart’s’ll become…

You got flames for wings, and at the
Stake is the claim of your wild speech
Fake is the flurry try to keep you in a bind
Shake shake shake it off like the way the dragon ride
Out of your cave you’re a beast of another dawn
Like a wake on the current that her voice will
Carry you for another lifetime
Keep your sight set right, leadin with the
Sound of the arrow fly

(And what these words do
And what these words do…)

Sister sun your ivory tongue is flowin’ like the waters run and all my thoughts jump into
Feathers abound fall on the page down, feathers abound fall on the pages
Sister sun your inner lungs are spinning shapes alive and wove in vision
Praying, pray our spirit, turn, our heart’s’ll become.

The mysterious “Over-self”?

The point where the intellect is transmuted into intuition = The Realm of Illumination.

To save the world is the Path of Salvation.

Dedicated service is the Hallmark of a Revealed Soul.

The Emerging Expression of Who You Are

Published May 11, 2020 by tindertender

The sacredness of any celebration is dependent upon the quality of spirit that is present. The quality of spirit is greater to the degree that you are fully present, with minimal inhibitions about expressing your joy and happiness through physical movement. Focus on what you want to celebrate. Put on some music and dance, whether slow or fast. Sing a song while you do so. Make one up about what you most have to celebrate.

You have lost touch with your instinctual sensitivities. It is the result of cultural and/or religious proscriptions dictating that anything wild and instinctual is threatening and, therefore, has to be controlled or eliminated. Now is the time to overcome this limited mindset and tune in to these instinctual cues.

Shed some of your inhibitions with the only guideline being to “do no harm”. Experiment by getting out of the straight jacket of familiar societal norms and listening to those sensations in your gut that are trying to give you a message. Take some deep breaths, and simply notice what your bodily sensations are telling you. Your mind will be the receiver of that information, and your body and mind can learn to work more closely with each other once again.

You have the advantage of an incredible synergy at this time. A flow of Life is guiding you. You are in a mutually cooperative interaction with Spirit, and your mission is congruent with your sense of purpose. When this is happening, there is a synergy, a way that your life force is continually coming into balance with the forces of Nature.

There is also a synergy between your spiritual awareness and your personal self, or ego. Be aware of the various idiosyncrasies of your ego, and do not take any of them too seriously. Know that your Higher Self is always looking out for your best interests.

Now is the time to let anything in your life fall away that is no longer useful or needed for the emerging expression of who you are. Allow yourself to gradually shed what has become burdensome and no longer congruent with your souls purpose. Conserve your energy by allowing yourself more rest while at the same time making preparations for the winter season. Look especially at your material possessions and be brutally honest with yourself as you discern which of these can be given away or somehow released.

Consider shedding relationships that have served their purpose and are no longer viable, as well as work or a job that has become devoid of interest and passion. With release comes a sense of being much lighter, just like the trees that openly bear their nakedness once their leaves have departed and give room for whatever new Life is ready to birth following a period of quiet and gestation. So let go of whatever has outlived its purposefulness and trust that something else will take its place.

You have power and it starts with loving the Earth through your heartfelt gratitude and appreciation, but more important, through your actions. All that is required is your willingness to pay attention to the trees and plant life around you and demonstrate your care.

Whether you live in a small space or have an expanse of land, make it a point to be especially attentive to your surrounding vegetation. Plant something. Get your hands in the dirt and do so with love and enthusiasm. Every flower, tree, or shrub you are tending is a living being, so treat each like you would a dear friend.

Cheers! Here’s to Needing Each Other.

I’ve always reserved the right to change my mind, always.

And I wonder …

Does this right dissolve if time itself stops? Or shifts?

What if what seems to be, isn’t. And what doesn’t seem to be, is.

Who are you?

If you want to raise your vibration, you’ve got to stop intentionally lowering your vibration.

Do you smoke?

Do you drink?

Do you eat a lot of processed foods?

Do you drink purified water?

Do you overindulge the senses?

I’m not here to judge anyone’s habits. The point is, if we put garbage into our energies, our energies will become dirtied. And everything we create will become tainted.

While living, we can see the signs which show we tend to categorize each other, while holding ourself in a sort of superior mode.

Again, not my effort here …

We do see this clearly with reverends, pastors, counselors and such. I was told by a reverend once that they must hold themselves apart from others because they are the wayshower, the guide. I can see the point, however it does seem to be a level of connection I’m no longer interested in … nor am I interested in shallow connections otherwise.

Here is to transparency.

To admitting we do not have all the answers.

To acknowledging that perhaps our neighbor, or fellow man and woman, have the information, the missing piece to our puzzle which will allow everything to make sense.

We need each other.

Whether we are willing to admit it or not.

You’re Dreaming-g-g-g

Published May 11, 2020 by tindertender

Dreaming of lavender fields, turquoise seas, and emerald isles.

Mountains that rise and fall, oceans that heave and sigh, and jungles that give and take.

You’ve dreamed up heaven and earth. All of the people and all of the places. What’s “good” and what’s not. What you like and what you don’t.

You’ve dreamed of me, and of yourself, and of things you no longer remember, yet they, too, carry on.

Yet as meticulous as you’ve been, there are some things, I dare say, that are too often forgotten,

That you’re dreaming, that you’re free, and that the dreamer is always greater than their dream.

Internal and External Dialogue

Published May 10, 2020 by tindertender

When we say things such as, “I’m afraid I do not understand” we are limited in thought and potentials… for we have allowed the subconscious format of fear using the word afraid in our sentence at all.

These ingrained, unnoticed, habitual phrases need to be sniffed out and eliminated from our conscious and subconscious thoughtforms.

Have you heard the phrase “You are the company you keep”? Well, our creations will be treated with what our inner thoughtforms are, our inner dialogue. The inner dialog becomes the outer dialogue and then creation followed by reaction or response, repeated for who knows how long.

We have the choice of our creation only when we become responsible for our inner dialogue and guide the outer with empathy and care.

We truly are in this together, for our combined efforts of increased and united thought forms cause our greater reality. Each one is crucial to the whole.

Deep Thoughts …

Published May 10, 2020 by tindertender

Only by looking deeply into ourself can we begin to understand those outside ourself.

Begin from childhood and move up into the latter years. Experience in your mind the joys, the hurts and everything in between as though it were happening now.

If there was anger, fear, sadness and love, remember it, like you first remembered it. Feel it fully, and then release it.

This process of “making room for the next best thing” is a tough journey! Release of that we have built around ourself, to solidify our thoughts about ourself, are difficult, to say the least and quite painful and even life threatening to say the worst. Most of us will feel polarities of joy and suffering and all in between as we work it out.

Digging deep we will find that which we fear, and probably not all of it for a very, very long time. Trauma helps us get there quicker but it also causes us to build pretty thick barriers in our emotional and mental bodies.

Without this deep personal work, we are not fit to view another in any negative manner.

As we come near the other side we begin to see ourself in others.

Those who are suffering remind us of when we might have suffered. Perhaps we buried pain so deep and cannot face another in suffering for the personal pain it brings us. Or maybe we sometimes are cold, like maybe some tell us we are.

Taking responsibility for our words and actions is critical for the future of our togetherness. Yet one step further is required – we must take responsibility for our thoughts.

ALL action stems from thought.

If we fail to control our thought forms, we may not be capable of controlling our impulses. If we are incapable of controlling our impulses, we are not fit for the coming society.

Harsh? Not really when you view the larger picture.

People need to get control of their minds.

Stop blaming others and start being solution providers.

Step up.

Be that which you need.

And then share it.

Perspective on Death

Published May 10, 2020 by tindertender

Imagine you were born in 1900. On your 14th birthday, World War I starts, & ends on your 18th birthday. 22 million perish in that war.

Later that year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet & runs until your 20th birthday. 50 million die from it in those 2 yrs.

On your 29th birthday, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, the World GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 33.

The country nearly collapses along with the world economy. When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet.

On your 41st birthday US is fully pulled into WWII. Between your 39th & 45th birthday, 75 million perish in war. At 50, Korean War starts. 5 million perish.

At 55, Vietnam War begins & doesn’t end for 20 years. 4 million people perish in that conflict.

On your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis.

When you turn 75, Vietnam War finally ends.

A kid in 1985 perhaps didn’t think an 85 yr old would understand how hard school was or how mean a kid in their class was. Yet they survived through everything listed above.

The birth of creative projects

Published May 10, 2020 by tindertender

Written by: Sarah Kirsten

Hello lovely,

Last spring I walked into the pasture and beheld a beautiful sight. Mama ewe had just given birth to twins. It was a warm day, and she chose a perfect spot under the shade of a big oak. As I knelt down to welcome them to our farm, this little one wobbled over and touched my fingers with his soft, pink nose.

One thing that stands out to me in life is that birth is always messy, but it is beautiful.

I think the same goes for our creative projects. When you have an idea and you work to bring it into the world, there is a lot of mess. Don’t think that just because you see the clean, finished product of everyone eles’s projects that the mess didn’t exist while they birthed it into being. Every birth is messy.

I wanted to share some of the messy middle I went through to put together the video I shared last week. I published a short blog post about my messy steps.

https://sarkirsten.com/blog/2020/5/8/behind-the-scenes-how-i-made-my-parents-house-video

Whatever creative project you secretly desire to birth into the world, it’s part of the process for it to be messy — physically and mentally. You are birthing something beautiful.
