You Aren’t What Others Tried to Create in You

When I was 5, I wanted to be like mama. Mama smoked. I used to get the buts out of the ash tray and pretend. By 7, I was taught how to properly inhale by a babysitter. By 11 I had mother approval, was given allowances, and notes of approval for purchase of the cigarettes at the store.

At 16 my mother bought an exorbitant amount of alcohol for self and friends, a party in the woods! Alcohol use approved, and supplied.

In life, people have tried to label me as addict. I would never accept that.

I experienced a pattern of excess, then I stopped. Those historical experiences don’t determine who I am today … or even then …

Some use cannabis, or hemp, and are labeled as an addict.

Some drink to excess and are seen as sophisticated … or a lush, depending on social status.

We as humans have experiences. Sometimes these experiences destroy us. Sometimes we physically perish, sometimes spiritually. If the bioform survives, the Spirit advances, expands, elevates …

While others get so angry at your rising, overcoming, gaining resilience and knowledge that could help others avoid such paths …

An experience isn’t an addiction.

Doing something repeatedly isn’t addiction.

It isn’t addiction unless there is craving.

Cigarettes have an addictive substance added to ensure this, so does alcohol, and junk food …

Addiction is allowed by governmental allowances of addictive substances added to natural products and foods. Many things are advertised as helpful and healthy. Of course “addiction” has grown into a complex money-maker for governing systems.

I never did the 12 steps.

I simply decided not to overindulge anymore.

And with flow, experiences come and go.

Mostly it is Man who judges harshly.

Spirit is happy for the wisdom, resilience, and inner fortitude manifested within.

Challenges are to be overcome.

Challenges aren’t meant to be a lifetime shadow of self-perceived weakness.

See yourself as “at risk” of falling and failing,

Or see yourself as an Achiever of whatever the mind desires.

Man’s judgements inhibit flow, and interfere with the lesson.

Especially knowing about all the interferences meant to manipulate this flow … or stagnancy.

Rise, beautiful mighty one.

Those challenges meant to drown you or bury you in suffering and shame were only fuel for your Soul Flight. Soar.

Leave the manipulations behind.

You aren’t what others tried to create in you.

In other words, to attain mastery over physical matter. By self-discipline, by subjugation of the lower instincts the selfishness which is the flesh, and man can be reborn into the spirit. In time the spirit will command the whole earth and the golden age will come on earth.

Every man has this gift within him, but the creative power which man has to change himself, to change the world, is not loud, noisy, and quarrelsome – it is the humble, gentle, loving spirit. It is the gentle spirit of Christ which you all have within you which is the power that performs miracles.

This… is what will save mankind, not the crucifixion of the Master on a cross, but the crucifixion of the lower self and the release of the glorious son of God in man.

This is a lesson which Easter has to teach. It is a time of sweet surrender to the light and beauty of the spirit; and within this surrender comes the great outpouring from the Son, Christ, to bless the child of God.

Understand that life itself is the Son in you, and the Son is the Christ spirit. The real you, the essence of you … is part of the Christ spirit, for you are not the little earthly personality that you think you are. You came from God, you are part of God, you are God’s seed.

A master is one who has by hard work and self-discipline and divine love in himself – and in giving his divine love, giving all gentleness and kindness to his brethren – attained to a degree of mastery of matter. You too have to learn how to rise in spirit and command flesh.

You are now in the process of crucifixion. It is very painful, your life may be hard, you get weary of the burden, and the cross you bear is more than you can stand sometimes; but it is only the power of the spirit of Christ within you that will enable you to rise and carry that burden as though it did not exist. This is for you, it is for everyone on this earth plane, to understand, and to set to work to develop more and more this divine love in the heart.

Through development of divine love in the heart, wisdom comes, knowledge comes. With the coming of knowledge and wisdom and love the whole being of man will be suffused with the power of heaven.

Some people think that love is purely an emotion and that therefore the voice of love cannot satisfy their reason; but love in its divine sense completely satisfies. And when fully developed in man it can raise him from the valley to the heights, giving him a range of vision which is only possible from the apex of the mountain.

‘Salvation’ is the true word to describe the mission of the Christ spirit; for when the Christ spirit becomes alive in man, man is literally saved from his sins; he lives in the light, and brings the light into the world. Once the Christ quickens within him, the world can no longer touch him. This is what salvation means – not salvation through belief in one particular man, but salvation by reason of the Christ love within man himself. This will forbid him to wage war against his brother or to treat his brother as less than himself; but will inspire him to words and actions of kindness and consideration, to work for God in his daily life, to live in consciousness of a glory which is above, around and within him, and in all life. This is salvation by Christ. Always the Lord of this earth, the Sun, the Son who is the savior of mankind, quickens the life of the spirit in man.

One Life

I counted my years and found that I have less time to live from here on than I have lived up to now.
I feel like that child who won a packet of sweets: he ate the first with pleasure, but when he realized that there were few left, he began to enjoy them intensely.

I no longer have time for endless meetings where statutes, rules, procedures and internal regulations are discussed, knowing that nothing will be achieved.

I no longer have time to support the absurd people who, despite their chronological age, haven’t grown up.

My time is too short:
I want the essence,
my soul is in a hurry.
I don’t have many sweets
in the package anymore.
I want to live next to human people,
very human, who know how to laugh at their mistakes, and who are not inflated by their triumphs, and who take on their responsibilities.
Thus human dignity is defended and we move towards truth and honesty.

It is the essential that makes life worth living.
I want to surround myself with people who know how to touch hearts, people who have been taught by the hard blows of life to grow with gentle touches of the soul.

Yes, I’m in a hurry, I’m in a hurry to live with the intensity that only maturity can give.

I don’t intend to waste any of the leftover sweets.
I am sure they will be delicious, much more than what I have eaten so far.

My goal is to reach the end satisfied
and at peace with my loved ones
and my conscience.

We have two lives.

And the second begins when you realize you only have one.

I see the people, elbow to elbow in a circle, their backs are to the inside, their fronts facing out. Their countenance is like the sun. As they open their arms exposing their front center to the light, the cocoon of darkness which had enveloped them opens, and as they spread their arms wide, the darkness is contained behind them in the residue of the collective cocoon. This darkness is encased by this cocoon, and surrounding this dark ball is the golden, fiery light of the liberated souls. This dark ball burns in this fiery light, enslaved in its own making … the cocoon of darkness … now surrounded by the flames of liberation.

Maybe this is what the prophets spoke of when describing the earth on fire.

The old threads are unraveling,
Get your needles ready.
We are stitching a new quilt
of Humanity.

Bring your old t-shirts,
worn out jeans, scarves,
antique gowns, aprons,
old pockets of plenty
who have held Earth’s treasures,
stones, feathers, leaves,
love notes on paper.

Each stitch
A mindful meditation.
Each piece of material
A story.
The more colour the better,
so call in the Tribes.

Threads of browns, whites,
reds, oranges
Women from all nations
start stitching.
Let’s recycle the hate, the abuse,
the fear, the judgment.
Turn it over, wash it clean,
ring it out to dry.

It’s a revolution
of recycled wears.
Threads of greens, blues, purples
Colourful threads
of peace, kindness,
respect, compassion
are being stitched
from one continent to the next
over forests, oceans, mountains.

The work is hard
Your fingers may bleed.
But each cloth stitched together
Brings together a community.
A world, our future world

In life I have learned not to take things too seriously. The slanderous rumors, the defamation of character, the theft and willingness to keep anything of value from me, life was one of scarcity, trial and tribulation. Friendless, partnerless … and the world did it’s best to break me. You can probably relate.

In my experience, i didn’t take anything too seriously, for to do so would be to relinquish the open mindedness required for solution creation. Or so it felt.

These days folks are going to need to learn to take it a little more seriously. Recognition is afoot. Your essence and effort is noted, and a reward, or new role and compensation may soon arrive.

Teaching the youth, molding minds … it begins with one’s own personal mental and emotional stability. If there isn’t stability, chaos will be the result.

You’re going to need to be an steady now.
You’re coming into leadership.
The time of childish frivolity may be over, unless it’s recess time. 😉

A new cycle begins.

The shedding has occurred.

It’s time for rebuilding.

Power of the Mind ~ Singing Your Story

You know how many times I’ve been told I’d never make it on my own? That I lacked what it took to care for self? Many. And I said piss the f off!! And at times I survived on top ramen and baked potatoes, but I actually really love baked potatoes and top ramen. Public transportation … bicycle transport … sleeping on the floor in a sparsely furnished apartment .. for a time even, houseless, sleeping in my car. f-them. Freedom often doesn’t look extravagant. But it’s priceless and worth fighting for.

They target the mind, filling it with jargon and trash. They need you in agreement with whatever storyline they give you. They need you to agree to your own limitations, your helpless inability to affect positive change. They need you to rely on them to tell you who you are and what you are capable of.

Stop confirming their lies, their made-up storyline about you! Don’t agree, or take on as truth the bullshit word magic spoken over you and your life to make you small or break you, to minimize you.

They take your song, the blessing of God given essence, coded particularly with your own self for personal expression in this world, and they change the notes, the tune, the tempo. And they’ll rewrite it occasionally, rescript you .. f them bishes.

Some folks can’t stand to see you shine.

They’ll demand you utilize this shiny goodness to fulfill their wishes and demands.

Man!! A friggen TREE is friendlier than many family members or “friends”.
