You will be victorious. Teamwork or a partnership may be better than going it alone. Synergy is important right now. Delegation is useful.
Boudicca’s very name means “bringer of victory.” She did what no other could do in her time: she was a queen, a warrior, a leader, and a mother. She was real. She was Boudicca.
When the Romans invaded Britain, things changed greatly for the native tribes. Some were wiped out, some were subjugated, and some became Roman allies. None were united. When Boudicca’s husband, king of the Iceni, died, he left his kingdom to his wife, daughters, and the Roman emperor, but the Romans did not honor his will. As the Romans did not recognize inheritance of land through the maternal line, they annexed the kingdom, just as if it were conquered territory, and the king’s women had no leadership rights. Boudicca, a tall, strong, red headed warrior queen, protested this.
The Romans came to Boudicca’s village to pass their judgement and violently attacked Boudicca and her daughters. They took all the food in the village and prohibited other Romans to trade with them. Additionally, the Romans slaughtered druids (who screamed curses upon them as the Romans landed upon the beach), burned down their sacred groves, and poisoned their holy wells. All these acts triggered a revolution within Boudicca; she decided that she would not only war with Rome but also attempt to unite the tribes of the Britons.
Joining with a neighboring tribe, Boudicca led an army that decimated a major Roman stronghold, the Romans certainly underestimating her ferocity and strategic prowess. Battle after battle, she eventually reached Londinium, which she joyfully burned to the ground. Archaeologists have discovered a charred layer of ash almost half a meter thick under modern London, courtesy of Boudicca.
Boudicca was eventually defeated, though it is not known exactly where and when she died. She was given a royal burial, and her army was disbanded, though not before damaging the Roman army and achieving what the Britons had sought all along – respect.
Her legend lives on. Boudicca has become a siren symbol of unity and of revolution. Her energy has been channeled by everyone from Queen Victoria (who had a statue made in her honor that sits on Westminster Pier in London) to numerous painters and writers of books, movies, and television series. When you feel downtrodden, are a victim of injustice, or think that you cannot possibly win, call upon the Queen of the Iceni to assist you! Her energy is one for when you feel you are unjustly being ignored and are not receiving the respectful treatment from others that you deserve.
When you feel it is time to stand up for just or respectful treatment and you want to call others to you for a positive purpose, or even just feel the unity of your own purpose and various energies, you can call on Boudicca.
You will need three small stones for this.
Go outside. Take a big, deep breath. Hold the stones in your hand.
Stand with your legs slightly apart, knees relaxed, in a stable, balanced pose. Raise one arm in a salute of victory. Say strongly,
Daughter of the Hare,
Queen of the Inceni,
Boudicca, hear my call!
I call you to join with me. I have a battle to win.
I know you will show me my strength and my will.
(Tell Boudicca your Issue)
Unite with me, great Boudicca.
Allow me to ride on your chariot
As I move forward
In trust and power.
Place the three stones in the earth in honor of Boudicca’s daughters.

Today is a day to focus on happiness. Happiness for me can only be defined by me. No one can tell me what will make me happy. I know that happiness does not come from the outer world, but is the deep contentment that comes from being at peace with myself. True happiness is not fleeting, but is deeply rooted. Today I will cherish my happiness and share it with everyone I can.

The power of ONE… working to empower others…
This is how it’s done. God Bless Phyllis Omido !

In a ruling seen as a huge boost to grassroots activism in Africa, a court in Mombasa gave the state and the now-closed factory’s owners 90 days to compensate victims at Owino Uhuru, on the outskirts of Mombasa, and clean up their soil and water.
“Imagine if you will being on your death bed – And standing around your bed – the ghosts of the ideas, the dreams, the abilities, the talents given to you by life.
And that you, for whatever reason, never acted on those ideas, you never pursued that dream, you never used those talents, we never saw your leadership, you never used your voice, you never wrote that book.
And there they are standing around your bed looking at you with large angry eyes saying we came to you, and only you could have given us life! Now we must die with you forever.
The question is – if you die today what ideas, what dreams, what abilities, what talents, what gifts, would die with you? ”
It’s time to think big. You are a star in your own right. There are unlimited possibilities. It is fine not to know every detail before proceeding. Mystery is a natural part of life.
Nuit’s energy is as wide as the sky, as big as the universe, and as bright as a star. Within the Egyptian pantheon, Nuit played the role of sky goddess. the celestial heavens were her body, and below her, in a mirror image, lay her brother, the earth god, Geb.
The infinite sky and the sparkling stars above are the expressions of the nature of Nuit. The ideas of wonder, unlimited possibility, infinity, and the eternity of life are all mysteries of Nuit. Ancient Egyptians believed that when one died, the body rested in her energy and, thus, they often painted her image on the lids of sarcophagi. Death is, in fact, a part of rebirth for the Egyptians, and Nuit was also a mother – she gave birth to Isis, Osiris, Set, and Horus. The sun god, Ra, was born from her star-strewn body every morning and then swallowed again at sunset.
Nuit invites us to share the infinite and expand accordingly. Her flowing energy suggests to us that there is nothing we can’t do and encourages us to embrace big possibilities. While many of us are fearful to expand and to take risks in that growth, Nuit encourages traveling forward with a strong intention anyway. When you are feeling small, when you are stuck in the tiny details, when you feel that there is no place in the world for you, Nuit is the perfect goddess to help you from relief. Nuit encourages us to think big and to set positive intentions for our growth.
Nuit also offers comfort to those who feel that they need to have all the answers all the time, which can be exhausting on so many levels. None of us is perfect. None of us knows everything, and it is unfair to put that type of pressure on ourselves. Not knowing actually leads to growth too. Nuit champions the idea that there are some things that should stay unexplained due to the beauty of the mystery.

Today is a day to focus on right action. Negative thoughts and feelings don’t lead to right actions. I need to let those thoughts, feelings, and ideas go and make all of my thoughts right thoughts. Right thoughts lead to right actions. Right actions lead to good results. Today I welcome only good things into my life.
When we begin to dive deep into our being, seeing our self fully, it can cause some unsettling emotional issues.
Denial … that’s usually the first step. We try to tell our self that what others see and report about us is false. We may accuse them of lying. Saying it just to be hurtful. We might even try to hurt them in return.
Anger … we get mad and reject anyone or thing that makes us look at the negative behaviors or patterns we exhibit.
Blame … we blame others for our behavior. It’s all someone else’s fault we are the way we are.
Sadness or depression … once we DO look inside, if we are honest with ourselves, we might begin to see the truth … that perhaps everyone else isn’t wrong after all. How can they ALL be wrong?
We can swing between depression, anger, sadness and blame for quite some time before we begin to accept responsibility for our words and actions … before we are able to admit that there is a lot of inner work needing done.
So we begin to take a good look at our self.
We choose to reformat our character, to ‘raise’ ourself differently, to parent our broken or injured inner child.
We learn to become a friend to self.
We might even begin to love our self … but that usually only comes after realizing we have actually hated our self, or acted like we did anyway.
Healing is a tough journey.
It is said that growing old isn’t for sissy’s.
But I say taking a good hard look at the truth of our self is the hardest and most challenging thing we’ll ever do …
Should one choose to.
My healing journey began more than 20 years ago. I’m only now emerging from the well … that deep well of binding thought and hindering emotional baggage.
May your journey be quicker than mine, yet equally thorough.
Call upon the elements. Focus your intentions. The greatest dragon is within you.
Right now I look to the Spirit within and I feel my inner power. I call upon the forces of nature for even more strength and direction. I will not waver from the task at hand for this is my time. I will go forth with courage and I will succeed, for life and power are on my side.
Laugh at yourself. Lighten your heart. Let nothing steal your happiness.
Today I will focus on joy. I am always completely myself and that is enough. Today I will honor myself and my personal integrity and rise up in its power. I will embrace the greater part of me and live with sincerity and honor. I will be honest with myself, live a life of truth, and I will be free.
Be bold. Rise up and stand tall. Feel the fire in your soul.
Today I will connect with my inner power and be bold. I will rise up and know my worth. I banish all uncertainty and remember with pride my accomplishments. I will let no one diminish me. I embrace the strong, beautiful presence that I am and I will go forth with courage.
We are all becoming. Surrender to your changes. Release your fear. Trust this powerful process.
Today I remember the infinite rhythm of life. I will not be afraid of the darkness for it is always followed by the light. I will not be surprised when the light seems to fade for it is just a part of the process. I know life is a circle of birth, death, and rebirth. I will not fear. I will embrace all that I am becoming and welcome change.
Let compassion fill your world. Offer kindness to all living things. What you give you also receive.
Today I will live in compassion, for myself and others. I will show kindness in word, thought, and deed. Right now, I will count my blessings. I will love myself, forgive myself, embrace my humanity and in doing so I will be able to do the same for others. For what I give I will receive and I will begin with me.
