When I was a girl, my dogs and I would go strolling through the wilderness. Whenever we’d come across a snake, they would paw and dig furiously at it, finally picking it up in mouth and flinging it out into the forest somewhere.
Dog :: reminding us of what is important in an upside-down world.
As I was half dozing last night/this morning, I was thinking about the thought forms in the collective field … those viruses of shame, guilt, anger, lust, those ideas we aren’t good enough, or worthy, those thoughts encouraging folks to think lowly of self, to hate self, to want to end self … and I called on the holy canine to sweep the collective field, rousting out these snakes and doing their thing to clear them.
I woke to near silence.
May all who work so diligently on behalf of the Divine, the Sacred called Life flowing within all beings and things, be blessed abundantly, surrounded by the Might of the Most High, protected, guarded and guided as they move in this world.
The common raven is a fascinating and highly underrated bird. They’re beautiful, but also extremely intelligent. Their brains are relatively large for their size, and they’ve been known to craft and use tools, plan for the future, barter, play games like hide and seek, and mimic human voices as well as man made sounds like an engine starting.
A group of ravens is called an “unkindness” (maybe because they’re so tricksy), but they do have friends…as well as enemies. They remember faces and have episodic memories- they remember human faces and characteristics in association with an emotion or event. They also remember being cheated or conned, and have been known to hold grudges for up to a month!
Ravens are very worldly birds, and can (and do) live pretty much anywhere. Their populations are exploding, and they’ve found ways to adapt to and take advantage of encroaching human environments. But they’re one of the few rare species that has.
Ravens are everywhere, and witness to everything; every effect of climate change and act of environmental destruction. This drawing, titled “Messenger” conveys a raven as the communicator between humans and nature. The vintage pocket watch, nearly at 00:00, is a message that we are nearly out of time, with a red ribbon marking it as urgent. While ravens themselves may not be currently endangered, they still rely on us the conserve and protect their natural world.
This drawing is based off a beautiful reference photo by the talented @ladzinski 🙌🏻

-Athey Thompson
A little poem taken from poetry book written in Camberlay, UK.
This photo is of “Camberley Kate”, the lady who roamed the streets with her “stray dogs” cart and picked up all the abandoned. It is said that during her lifetime she rescued and gave a loving home to more than 600 stray dogs.
Today I honor this inspiring lady and her legacy, she dedicated her life to saving dogs, and being kind to all animals.
😊 Being single is a whole nuther life style. Folks who have mates and children can’t really relate … or maybe it’s just me who can’t really relate to folks who have family and children. We are different.
Do any of you remember before kids? When other friends had them, and all of a sudden you didn’t hang out any more? Priorities shift.
My priority is my dog. Others, is their children. My dog is my child. Many cannot understand this, and judge it from their perspective … it’s just a dog… if others don’t like it you should leave it home… you’re having a love affair with your dogs… they don’t value the canine as I do.
Our lives are different
That’s not a bad thing, but it does require the necessity to view things from a different perspective.
Plum Island, a level 4 biolab used to research disease and illness tied to our livestock.
They moved this biolab from an island with only one way in and one way out. Probably the most secure place of the nation, and moved it right into Kansas.
While they were transitioning from point A to point B … 10,000 cows died in June.
The biolab officially opened in 2023.
Through the winter we had a weird aviary bird flu breakout.
There were issues with chicken feed and chickens not able to lay eggs.
Now there are issues with goats not able to have kids.
Plum Island, a level 4 biolab used to research disease and illness tied to our livestock has now been moved to Kansas, in a non-secure building (unlike an island).
Of course they won’t admit it, and they’ve locked away the data in vaults the chattel shall never see.
Some say that during 18,000 BC is when the developed the sow that we eat, by genetically splicing it with humans, and that eating them, is essentially eating self. Canablism. I’ve heard stories of the genetically modifying rice with human dna too. Let me find it.
Its U.S. developers say they could be used to treat children with diarrhoea, a major killer in the Third World.
The rice is a major step in so-called Frankenstein Foods, the first mingling of human-origin genes and those from plants. But the U.S. Department of Agriculture has already signalled it plans to allow commercial cultivation.
The rice’s producers, California-based Ventria Bioscience, have been given preliminary approval to grow it on more than 3,000 acres in Kansas. The company plans to harvest the proteins and use them in drinks, desserts, yoghurts and muesli bars.
The news provoked horror among GM critics and consumer groups on both sides of the Atlantic.
GeneWatch UK, which monitors new GM foods, described it as “very disturbing”. Researcher Becky Price warned: “There are huge, huge health risks and people should rightly be concerned about this.”
Friends of the Earth campaigner Clare Oxborrow said: “Using food crops and fields as glorified drug factories is a very worrying development.
“If these pharmaceutical crops end up on consumers’ plates, the consequences for our health could be devastating.
“The biotech industry has already failed to prevent experimental GM rice contaminating the food chain.
“The Government must urge the U.S. to ban the production of drugs in food crops. It must also introduce tough measures to prevent illegal GM crops contaminating our food and ensure that biotech companies are liable for any damage their products cause.”
In the U.S., the Union of Concerned Scientists, a policy advocacy group, warned: “It is unwise to produce drugs in plants outdoors.
“There would be little control over the doses people might get exposed to, and some might be allergic to the proteins.”
The American Consumers Union and the Washingtonbased Centre for Food Safety also oppose Ventria’s plans.
As well as the contamination fears there are serious ethical concerns about such a fundamental interference with the building blocks of life.
Yet there is no legal means for Britain and Europe to ban such products on ethical grounds.
Imports would have to be accepted once they had gone through a scientific safety assessment.
The development is what may people feared when, ten years ago, food scientists showed what was possible by inserting copies of fish genes from the flounder into tomatoes, to help them withstand frost.
They’re doing terrible things in Ukraines biolabs. Not only creating weapons of virological assault on life, but most likely contaminating “everything” from food, to medicines.

They tell you not to cry. They tell you he’s just a dog, not a human. They tell you it will pass. They tell you that animals do not know that they must die. They tell you that the important thing is not to make them suffer. They tell you that you can get another one. They tell you it will happen. They tell you there are more unbearable pains. But they don’t know how many times you’ve looked your dog in the eye. They don’t know how many times it was you and your dog that looked in the dark. They don’t know how many times your dog was the only one by your side. They don’t know that the only one who hasn’t judged you is your dog. They don’t know how scared you were the night his moans woke you up. They don’t know how many times your dog has slept next to you. They don’t know how much you’ve changed since the dog became a part of your life. They don’t know how many times you hugged him when he was sick. They don’t know how many times you pretended not to see when his hair was getting whiter and whiter. They don’t know how many times you’ve talked to your dog, the only one who really listens to you. They don’t know how good you were to your dog. Little do they know that only your dog knew you were in pain. They don’t know what it’s like to see your old dog trying to come over and say hello. They don’t know that when things go wrong, the only one who isn’t gone is your dog. They don’t know that your dog trusts you, every moment of his life, even at the last moment. They don’t know how much your dog loved you and how little he needed to be happy, because you were enough for him. They don’t know that crying for a dog is one of the noblest, most meaningful, truest and purest things you can do. They don’t know about the last time you rocked him hard… being careful not to hurt him. They don’t know what you felt when you caressed his face in the last moments of his life.
