Fur Babies

Published October 2, 2020 by tindertender

This is a real picture of a dog who was left at a shelter this week by an owner who discarded him without looking back.

Terrified, withdrawn and confused, he shrinks into the wall and lays in his own urine.

Next time you decide to buy that fluffy puppy from the pet store or go to a breeder charging way too much money, think of the thousands abandoned and left like this everyday.

Be a responsible pet owner or DON’T HAVE A PET.

These are children people … children, they NEED us …. stop being selfish.

How you treat the vulnerable says VOLUMES about you.

Frequency Of The Cat Purr

Published August 28, 2020 by tindertender

Did you know that cats heal bones!

House cats may actually be contributing to our physical well-being.

Exposure to the vibration of a cat purring between 20-50 hz increases bone density, provides pain relief, heals tendons etc.

Russian athletes, for the Olympic team are known for their increased performance when exposed to cats purring. They used a machine called “The Purr”, tuned to the cat purring frequency of 50 hz.

Maybe, that is why cats have 9 lives!

Caddisfly Larvae as They Build Aquatic Cocoons

Published July 13, 2020 by tindertender
Trichoptera (caddis larva) building case (studio view), 1980-2000. Material: Gold, pearls, turquoise. Length: 2.5 cm. Photographer: Frédéric Delpech. Image courtesy of the artist and Art:Concept gallery, Paris and MONA Museum of Old and New Art.

For years the artist has been collaborating with the tiny insects, providing them small aquariums of gold, turquoise and pearls that the the larvae readily use to construct their temporary homes. Regardless of how creepy crawly you might find the insects, it’s impossible to deny the strange beauty of the final product, tiny gold sculptures held together with silk. Encountering them void of any context, one would assume they were constructed by a jeweler.

Many a Human’s Best Friend

Published February 27, 2020 by tindertender

The below story is exactly why some of the masculine, in various countries, have deemed DOG dirty, and hurt them whenever they get a chance.

… because our furry friends will protect us against abuse.

Simple logic.

Man wants to abuse women and children, they have to get rid of the dogs, for dogs would shred the bastards.
