She’s My Sister

Published September 20, 2022 by tindertender

“She isn’t a kind person” he said.

I do not agree.

She is beautiful, inside and out.

She is not a door mat, or an inexperienced, untested girl who needs to be “led”.

She’s a survivor who has raised good men and women.

She is a nurturer, with skills others lack.

She most certainly IS kind.

She is there when others need her.

She is strong.

She is one who needs a partner, not a master.

She is my sister.

Don’t forget it.

And don’t bring your shit talk of her to my door.

lyrics

Every new note creates a beautiful memory.
Time and space fall away like leaves.
We may have pain, but we are beautiful energy.
We got a gift, we got love, let it go.

Love Letter

Published September 13, 2022 by tindertender

I am not the first person you loved.
You are not the first person I looked at
with a mouthful of forevers. We
have both known loss like the sharp edges
of a knife. We have both lived with lips
more scar tissue than skin. Our love came
unannounced in the middle of the night.
Our love came when we’d given up
on asking love to come. I think
that has to be part
of its miracle.
This is how we heal.
I will kiss you like forgiveness. You
will hold me like I’m hope. Our arms
will bandage and we will press promises
between us like flowers in a book.
I will write sonnets to the salt of sweat
on your skin. I will write novels to the scar
of your nose. I will write a dictionary
of all the words I have used trying
to describe the way it feels to have finally,
finally found you.

And I will not be afraid
of your scars.

I know sometimes
it’s still hard to let me see you
in all your cracked perfection,
but please know:
whether it’s the days you burn
more brilliant than the sun
or the nights you collapse into my lap
your body broken into a thousand questions,
you are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
I will love you when you are a still day.
I will love you when you are a hurricane.

Dear Men …

Published September 13, 2022 by tindertender

We miss you.
Deeply.
When women gather together in circles..
we tell stories of how much we long for you. Crave you.
Pray for you to rise and meet us here.
We mourn your missing presence.
In our childhoods.
In the homes we’ve built without you.
In our beds.
We hold hands and beg God to set you free from whatever keeps you from standing at our sides.
Right here.
Here In intimacy.
In integrity.
In wholeness.
In freedom.
The places where you are caught in dishonesty..
shame..
fear..
addiction..
we grieve and rage over.
We see your pain and we see your power.
We miss you.
We love you.
We can’t wait for you to come home
For the men who have..
thank you so much.
Please call your brothers..
start men’s circles..
show them the manuals.
Tell them of what you gave up.
Of your brokenness and acceptance.
Of what it truly means to take up the mantle of protector.
Please.
There aren’t enough fathers..
resources and leaders for men to sit at the feet of.
The women have tried.
We can’t do it.
The restoration must come from within the Masculine.
The Feminine cannot mother grown men into wholeness.
We cannot strap men to our backs and walk.
We tried.
We bow out.
Not gracefully.
But in mournful acceptance nonetheless.
And we will wait for you to burst free from the shackles patriarchy has placed on you.
We pray.
We pray.
We pray.
For the Great Remembrance.~

Memories

Published September 10, 2022 by tindertender

When I was 2.5 years old my mother got busted with a suitor in the cafe she worked at. Dad pistol whipped him, putting him in the hospital. Told him he best leave town if he wanted to live. He did. My father left us. I remember laying on the floor of some cold brick building with my mother for sleep. This song was playing, and she was sobbing. I cried as she clutched me close to her chest.

Pain

And love

In one

Bittersweet

Moment

Every time I hear this song I relive that moment.

Symbiosis

Published July 11, 2022 by tindertender

”The famous Italian diver Enzo Maiorca dove into the sea of Syracuse and was talking to his daughter Rossana who was aboard the boat. Ready to go in, he felt something slightly hit his back. He turned and saw a dolphin. Then he realized that the dolphin did not want to play but to express something. The animal dove and Enzo followed.

At a depth of about 12 meters, trapped in an abandoned net, there was another dolphin. Enzo quickly asked his daughter to grab the diving knives. Soon, the two of them managed to free the dolphin, which, at the end of the ordeal, emerged, issued an “almost human cry” (describes Enzo). (A dolphin can stay under water for up to 10 minutes, then it drowns.)

The released dolphin was helped to the surface by Enzo, Rosana and the other dolphin. That’s when the surprise came: she was pregnant!

The male circled them, and then stopped in front of Enzo, touched his cheek (like a kiss), in a gesture of gratitude and then they both swam off.

Enzo Maiorca ended his speech by saying: “Until man learns to respect and speak to the animal world, he can never know his true role on Earth.” ~ Vangelis.”

May 5th – Red Dress Day

Published May 8, 2022 by tindertender

Did you know that today is Red Dress Day? On this day, we wear red dresses or shirts, or hang a red dress in the trees in our yard to represent the estimated 4,000 missing indigenous women in Canada and the estimated 6,000-10,000 missing women in the United States.

Did you know that: “One in three Native women will be raped in their lifetime, and three in five will be physically assaulted. Native women are more than twice as likely to be stalked than other women and, even worse, Native women are being murdered at a rate ten times the national average.”????

That’s right. They have a 1 in three chance of being raped, a 3 in 5 chance of being assaulted, are twice as likely to be stalked, and are 10 times more likely to be murdered than women of any other descent.

We need to change those statistics.

And So I Asked ….

What’s happening?

There is currently a frenzy goin’ on! Trouble, strife, disharmony, conflict, argument, and all things stressful are happening now. A crack of the whip will be exerted. Bring your forces of attention together, get focused.

We are in the midst of a storm. There is uncertainty and confusion. A clear cut will be made to the darker aspects, revealing something that will make this storm less severe. A glorious breakthrough will occur, the Sun shall shine brightly. There is a promise of liberation from this uncertainty.

Security and stability will be forthcoming. Peace of mind will be experienced. Faith has won the game and the whole prize is gained. Hard work pays off ~ Abundance and wealth will be yours. You are protected in times of need.

Many voices together are louder than one. An announcement travels quickly, whether it be from “officials” or messages via social media. This could be a reunion of twin flames.

An invitation is received, a message, information, perhaps a package. A journey is indicated, new horizons to be explored. This will be pleasant.

Beautiful stability, protection and security will be given in this place, it is the Seat of Power.

A Love relationship, monogamy and enduring love shall be the experience. Romance!

No We Won’t …

Dominator masculine’s coming into my dream space saying “we’ll have fun together” … no we won’t. I’m returning to where I came from. I will not be ensnared for another cycle of dominator masculine telling me what I can or cannot have and do.

Going home to my King, my God.

Get over it.
