Kindness Is Strength

Published September 15, 2020 by tindertender

Being kind does not mean enabling or letting someone walk over you or insult you, that’s being a victim.

Kindness with healthy boundaries is compassion.

Kindness is a chosen way of being. It brings the person offering kindness and those receiving it nourishment as it feels good on both sides.

Choose to be kind, hold your healthy boundaries and keep your heart open in compassion to yourself as well as others.

Blessings.

The Forest

Published September 15, 2020 by tindertender

“One day when you wake up, you will find that you have become a forest.

You have grown roots and found strength in them that no one thought you had.

You have become stronger and more beautiful, full of life giving qualities.

You have learned to take all the negativity around you and turn it into oxygen for easy breathing.

A host of wild creatures live inside you and you call them stories.

A variety of beautiful birds rest inside your mind and you call them memories.

You have become an incredible self sustaining thing of epic proportions.

And you should be so proud of yourself, of how far you have come from the seeds of who you used to be.”

Breathwork

Published September 15, 2020 by tindertender

In these times, it is very important to consider the breath and healing techniques … for our body, our energetic fields, and our emitions into this world … will we breathe LIFE into our surroundings, or contribute to the chaotic outputs we are pounded with?

We are being bombarded by negativity .. in the media, by the people who are unaware of their outputs, (and those that are) and by the unseen via dreams … suggestions of inferiority and weakness … of mind and all other forms of self.

Firming up and reeling in all scattered energies is crucial right now.

Here is a link to several methods of breathwork ….

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=healing+breathing+techniques

Here is one technique that has wonderful effects on the aura and energies. It’s a healing breath (breath of fire) that can be blown into a vision of your own body as it stands in front of you, and has many other uses as well.

Here is another technique that has a lot of promise ….

If you wish to stand even the slightest chance of coping in a good way with the manipulations of the seen and unseen, control of self, and self output must be considered … and practiced.

Remember to drink a LOT of water, as you will need to flush out that which you are shedding.

It isn’t always wise to share what you are doing with others, for ‘some’ will ultimately try and find a way to counter the benefits you are experiencing.

In this particular matter, I happen to care about the world and the life in it so much, I take that risk.

Be well.

The Becoming

Published September 14, 2020 by tindertender

This world tries to tell us who we are from the beginning of our lives.

Fat, skinny, dim witted, intelligent, mentally challenged, pretty, ugly, selfish, generous, and any number of other things.

Before we become adults our psyche can be corrupted by the many opinions of our peers. We attempt to live up to their expectations.

Doctors may label us as ‘something’ in order to have an excuse to prescribe various medications which alter our chemistry in order to ‘help’ us. Once they do this, family, friends, society as a whole does its thing and tries to validate this ‘diagnosis’. Usually all done out of ignorance, or a requirement to prescribe meds, or a failed understanding of our experience of the Spiritual Realms, which we may have become connected to.

Triggers born of such experiences and judgments can be difficult to shed as we begin to stand more firmly in our OWN perceptions and ideas of Self. It can take a lot for us to finally say, No More … you are not allowed to define me any longer.

Yet the trigger is sometimes flipped by our connections, even unintentionally, due to the wounds we carry.

This is a good thing, for it allows us the opportunity to see it, to evaluate it, to sit with it and trace it to its source, to see how it has affected our lives and our decisions about self and relationships.

This is when healing can occur if we are willing to look at it deeply, acknowledge it so that it can be released, rather than suppressed. In suppression it will ALWAYS have opportunity to rear its head.

Acknowledgement and release is the only way to freedom from the stigma that began with others placing their own perceptions of our value on us, which we often take on as our own.

Becoming a healer is a difficult process, and always begins with our willingness to heal Self first. Becoming a healer cannot BE any other way, for books cannot teach it … it must be experienced for Self in order to BE IT, and to be of assistance for others.

Bless the courageous and their Stubborn Will which demands to become that which they have always needed, a nurturer. And somewhere along the line, transforming that Stubborn Will into a Skillful Will that is of benefit not only to Self, but to the World.

I love you so much.

Your Brilliance, your Endurance, and your Love for Life is tremendous and oh so beautiful.

I am one of the most Blessed Women, simply for knowing you. And for finally, coming into the true knowledge of what it means to be whole. I am so happy that this Life is a continuous opportunity for development and advancement in the Spiritual things …. in the Heart, Mind, Body and Emotional states which need focus to become Balance.

As chaos flies all about the world, let us reel in our energies, harness it, and apply it to that world we wish to co-create together … a world of beauty, acceptance, care, compassion and Love … in all of its forms.

Thinking and Feeling

Published September 13, 2020 by tindertender

He who prefers to think than to feel, leaves his feeling to rot in darkness. It does not grow ripe, but in moodiness produces sick tendrils that do not reach the light. He who prefers to feel than to think leaves his thinking in the darkness, where it spins its net on gloomy places, desolate webs in which mosquitos and gnats become enmeshed. The thinker feels the disgust of feeling, since feeling in him is mainly disgusting. The one who feels thinks the disgust of thinking, since the thinking in him is mainly disgusting. So the serpent lies between the thinker and the one who feels. They are each other’s poison and healing.

May the thinking person accept his pleasure, and the feeling person accept his own thought. Such leads one along the way.

Learning Through Experience

Published September 9, 2020 by tindertender

Shamanism is all about learning through experience. The analytical clever mind can block one getting deeper due to wanting to pick things apart, judge and criticize. The mind knows no better, it thinks it’s protecting, but it’s not. It’s hindering progress.

To really make the most of the experience you will need to either befriend your mind by thanking it and asking it to take notes and you will get back to it later, or with intent, expand your soul essence to be more encompassing than the size and influence of your mind. In this way, you can move deeper and use the mind as a defining tool rather than something blocking your way.

Blessings.

Old Turtle

Published September 8, 2020 by tindertender

Once, long, long ago … yet somehow, not so very long …when all the animals and rocks and winds and waters and trees and birds and fish and all the beings of the world could speak … and understand one another there began … an argument.

It began softly at first …

Quiet as the first breeze that whispered, “He is a wind who is never still.” Quiet as the stone that answered, “He is a great rock that never moves.” Gentle as the mountain that rumbled, “God is a snowy peak, high above the clouds.” And the fish in the ocean that answered, “God is a swimmer, in the dark blue depths of sea.” “No,” said the star, “God is a twinkling and a shining, far, far away.””No,” replied the ant, “God is a sound and a smell and a feeling, who is very, very close.” “No,” insisted the antelope, “is a runner, swift and free, who loves to leap and race the wind.” “She is a great tree,” murmured the willow, “a part of the world, always growing and always giving.” “You are wrong,” argued the island, “God is separate and apart.” “God is like the shining sun, far above all things,” added the blue sky. “No, He is a river, who flows through the very heart of things,” thundered the waterfall.”She is a hunter, ” roared the lion. “God is gentle,” chirped the robin. “He is powerful,” growled the bear. And the argument grew louder, and LOUDER, and LOUDER…

STOP!

A new voice spoke. It rumbled loudly, like thunder. And it whispered softly, like butterfly sneezes. The voice seemed to come from ….Why it seemed to come from …Old Turtle!

Old Turtle hardly ever said anything, and certainly never argued about God. But now Old Turtle began to speak.”God is indeed deep,” she said to the fish in the sea, “and much higher than high,” she told the mountains. “He is swift and free as the wind, and still and solid as a great rock,” she said to the breezes and stones. “She is the life of the world,” Turtle said to the willow. “Always close by, yet beyond the farthest twinkling light.” she told the ant and the star. “God is gentle and powerful. Above all things and within all things.”God is all that we dream of, and all the we seek,” said Old Turtle, “all that we come from and all the we can find. “God IS.”

Old Turtle had never said so much before. All the beings of the world were surprised, and became very quiet.

But Old Turtle had one more thing so say. “There will soon be a new family of beings in the world, ” she said, “and they will be strange and wonderful. “They will be reminders of all that God is. They will come in many colors and shapes, with different faces and different ways of speaking. Their thoughts will soar to the stars, but their feet will walk the earth. They will possess many powers. They will be strong, yet tender, a message of love from God to the earth, and a prayer from the earth back to God. And the people came.

But the people forgot. They forgot that they were a message of love, and a prayer from the earth. And they began to argue … about who knew God. And who did not and where God was, and was not; and whether God was, or was not.

And often the people misused their powers, and hurt one another. Or killed one another. And they hurt the earth. Until finally even the forests began to die … and the rivers and the oceans, and the plants and the animals and the earth itself … because the people could not remember who they were, or where God was.

Until one day there came a voice, like the growling of thunder; but as soft as butterfly sneezes, PLEASE STOP!

The voice seemed to come from the mountain who rumbled, “Sometimes I see God swimming in the dark blue depths of the sea.” And from the ocean who sighed, “He is often among the snow-capped peaks, reflecting the sun.” From the stone who said, “I sometimes feel her breath, as she blows by.” And from the breeze who whispered, “I feel his still presence as I dance among the rocks.” And the star declared, “God is very close;” and the island added, “His love touches everything.”

And after a long, lonesome and scary time .. the people listened, and began to hear … And to see God in one another…and in the beauty of the earth.

And Old Turtle smiled.

And so did God.

Mental Illness

Published September 8, 2020 by tindertender

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your view), many times, this too weaves in and out of our lives, bringing an opportunity for pain processing, giving its many lessons, and often also the healing needed …. blessings to all those brave souls who withstand, face, and usually overcome the visitor when it arrives. Courage looks different at various points in life … and sometimes, we must face our trials alone … and yet, never really alone.

I believe the visitor brings us the reconnect to spirit often needed to get back on track. Difficult to find, yet possible, with patience, with practiced endurance.

Here is to never giving up …

The world needs all of us and our various offerings in order for balance to truly be.

Yes, sometimes we need the tools science provides to regain our own internal balance … there is no shame in this.

Reach out, to your higher power, to your friend, to your doctor, to the angels … to Creator … whomever you need …. and know they are with you, aiding you.

Here’s a little something Jeff Brown wrote:

“God does not give you more than you can handle.” Really? Did you ask God yourself? Did she confirm your theory? Look, I get that sometimes we say stuff like this because we don’t know what else to say, or because we actually think it helps. We don’t want people to give up. We want them to keep on fighting to stay alive. But, honestly, it doesn’t help. Few survivalist mantras do. Because there is more to life than survival at all costs. There is more to life than armoring up and toughing it out in the heart of our suffering. There is also something to be said for healing our way to wholeness. For meeting each other in our woundedness. For embracing the possibility that our trauma is actually a lot more than we handle. So, next time you feel tempted to tell a trauma survivor, “God does not give you more than you can handle,” try something different. Say this, “Something tragic has happened. You should not have to handle it alone. How can I help you to grieve and to heal?” Remind them that God is a soft place to land. Remind them that God is compassion in human form. ~ Jeff Brown https://www.facebook.com/SOULSHAPING

Affirmation 9-3-2020

Published September 3, 2020 by tindertender

Today is a day to focus on the thoughts, ideas and actions that contribute to my inner peace. I can deal with the winds of change only if I am at peace within myself. Today I banish all thoughts and actions that create disharmony. I am calm, physically and emotionally. Today, I radiate peace.
