As a young girl I would be startled at the ‘knowing’ that would come over me about certain places, things, people or events. Usually it was of negative nature, or, it felt negative to my young girl heart.
I was introduced to alcohol at a young age by friends. I never liked the taste, but to fit in, I drank it. My perceptions seemed to die out the more ‘abusive’ I became with myself.
In my sexual experiences, I was surprised at the lack of connection made by my partners. They didn’t seem to feel things the same as I felt them. Deeply. No, they seemed shallow, for the climax only.
True connection always seemed to fail, even when I believed it hadn’t.
After 17 years sober, my perceptions are alive and kicking. Hollering even.
Astral travel is off the charts.
Fighting in the ethers.
Loving in the ethers.
Feeling for the first time what full body sense operation (without actual physical connection) is like, or the simple beginnings of the reality anyhow.
I believe I’ve been shown a glimmer of what true sensation is, and when partnered … whoa … it’s gonna be awesome.
Anyone and everyone who was or is psychic or clairaudient or having some other sense-ability will experience an upswing in sense activity, if they haven’t already.
Caring for self is critical right now. Be tender with yourself. If life is tense, find a few moments, here or there, or longer if you can, and love yourself tenderly. Sometimes, we are the only ones who will, so be sure to do that.
As the planet raises in consciousness, we are too. It will get bumpy-er. Be sure to put on your armor … hope, faith, belief … however that looks like for you. As I’ve been told in the recent past by a few, “Stand Your Ground”.
Do what is necessary to protect your Spirit and Soul. Eat nutritious, light food, live if possible, non-gmo too when possible. Easier said than done if you’re not super dedicated. I’ve added a nutrition shake in place of a meal to cut out some of the bulk.
We get where we are going by taking baby steps. One, two, three, maybe a couple steps back and three or four forward … growth is strenuous at times. Difficult, even when the change is minor.
Change, as well as full blown loving, will rock the nervous system. And it isn’t over at climax, no … it continues to alter the nervous system as long as needed until comfortable.
Then a new growth cycle will begin.
Find the joy in life’s ride. Create it, see it in everything. Otherwise, you’ll spend far too much time being upset, or angry, or lonely and bored.
Steer life’s emotions, do not be led by them.
They are powerful. Dangerous if left unchecked.
Be responsible.
But more than that …
Be a Creator who is in complete control of self, working at all times for the benefit of the whole.
Reveal your truth. When you were born, your soul shone bright. As you grew, you were taught of right and wrong. You were taught how to think, how to live, how to believe in a way that makes you fearful to say no. To disagree is to risk alienation from family and society, and so you hide your true gifts and feelings behind a mask. That mask hides your light. Cast it aside. Embrace and live your truth, and let your soul shine once more.
(Current mood) Embrace the dark. You have been taught that all is either good or evil, negative or positive; good gives rise to good, and bad gives rise to bad. It is wrong to have feelings of anger, dislike or fear as these emotions are born of our shadow self. This is not Truth. Everything happens for a reason. Love can give rise to destruction, and hate can inspire acts of genuine love. The lessons offered by our shadow often teach us the most. Know your shadow self. Love it. Without darkness, the stars cannot be seen.
(Possible strength or weakness) Time to reflect. Have you been rushing along, living from one moment to the next without thought or care? Have you failed to notice and acknowledge all that you have achieved and accomplished? Stop. Take a moment to pause and reflect upon all that has happened and all that is happening. See how have you have grown. See all you have succeeded in accomplishing. Acknowledge and delight in your journey and understand how it has played a part in creating the you who lives in the present.
(The present) Be without Malice. You have been hurt, disrespected or disappointed by others. Another has let you down or betrayed you. It is normal and natural to experience feelings of anger, hurt and disappointment. To feel any and all emotion is natural, but you have choice always in how you respond. Do not allow your hurt to become a source of infection. Acknowledge it. Learn from it and your experiences, and then let the anger, hurt and disappointment go. Do not allow them to inspire retaliatory acts born of malice or spite.
(Choice one) Nurture all you love. Take the time to nurture the things you care about so that they may flourish and grow. Your hopes, your dreams, your body, your mind, your spirit, your creations, and your relationships; all that is you needs to be cherished, loved, honored and respected. Without care and attention, these aspects of self can fall into a state of neglect that does only harm to both you and the world around you. Nurture them, and they will bring you peace and fulfillment.
(Choice Two) Change is unavoidable. Every second of every day you undergo change. Your perception is altered by what you see, feel and experience from one moment to the next. Your body ages and moves closer to death with every breath. Autumn will always come to end the bounty of Summer, and the new hope of Spring will always follow Winter. Change is all around you. Do not let your fear bind you to the past and prevent you from enjoying your present and future. Stop fighting. You cannot resist the inevitable so choose instead to embrace it with acceptance and peace.
(Choice three) Focus, and then act. There is something you want or need to make manifest, but to make you dreams a reality you must focus your will upon that desire and do what needs to be done. Prayer alone will not give you that which you desire. There are things that you must do in order to have your hopes realized. Now is not the time for stillness or passivity. Now is the time to focus your will, your thoughts and emotions, and to get up and take the necessary steps.
(The next few weeks) Know your power. You have choice in all things. Your power is born of that freedom to choose, but with that freedom comes the burden of responsibility in all you experience even when you allow another to impose their choice or will upon you. You have the power to choose if you wear a saddle or bridle, or if another will ride upon your back. Own your power. Know it and see it in all of your choices and actions.
(Present influence) Surrender to the flow. Through choice and action you can steer the course of your life. But sometimes a need to control every outcome can have you caught up in a whirlpool instead of moving forward. You may move in the direction of your choosing,, but it may not be the direction in which you need to journey. Loosen your grip. Surrender yourself to the flow, and trust that you will find yourself exactly where you need to be.
(Past influence) Heed the messengers. It is easy to ignore the messengers and the signs they show you, especially when they bring a message you do not wish to hear. But now is not the time to ignore the messengers. Do not let your fear of change or discomfort silence their voices. It is time for you to stop procrastinating, to see and hear the truth, and do what is necessary. Heed the messengers for the wisdom they offer is born of your own intuition and need.
(Subconscious feelings and thoughts) Hear the ancient ones. The indigenous peoples of the world are those who have lived in harmony with the land for countless generations. Among them are the elders whose knowledge and wisdom can teach us of our relationship with nature, of living a life of empathetic awareness, and to better understand our role as caretakers of the earth. They can teach us the wisdom of taking only what we need, of wasting little, and of honoring all sacrifices made so that you may live and grow. Hear the wisdom of the Ancient Ones; learn from their knowledge, lore, and traditions.
(The next few months) Need and necessity. Night and day exist within the very same moment. Creation and destruction wear the same face. You only see one or the other because you are not seeing the whole. What you may see as harmful, another mat believe to be good. All is based upon perception. In nature, all occurs according to need and necessity not right or wrong. Ask yourself – Is there a genuine need to act? Is change necessary for your continued wellbeing and happiness? If the answer is yes, then act. If the answer is no, then do not.
I read recently that while taking a bath it is good to set an intention for healing.
As I soaked, I began thinking of life and the habits we create after, or during, a specific life experience.
Later, we may determine that these habits, these habitual ways of being, are not serving our highest potential any longer. Maybe they are causing issues in a current relationship, or circumstance.
So, we shed them, much like a snake sheds their skin.
Shedding these habits, or mind sets, does not lead to death, although it can feel like it at times.
No, like the snake, it is a period of growth … outgrowing certain traits … and periods of rebirth … replacing old forms with new ways of being and thinking.
I lay stretched in the tub. I flex my spine against the bottom of the tub, and I inch my way up into a sitting position, moving the spine as a snake does.
Decided to go for a joy ride despite there not being much “sunshine” in the day. It was still pretty amazing. Nature never ceases to impress me.
FungiPanorama #1Panorama #2Snail friendSorry kids. You can walk the trail, but you cannot play on the equipment. New growth, uncurling and reaching upward.
As I think about “new growth” I am reminded that growth, no matter the kind, is emotionally challenging, even physically challenging, but the most difficult is the energetic challenge, for it is charged by emotion and past negative conditioning. The nervous system rebels against change like a dying life form.
Do you think that our ‘mental condition’ (or life form) rebels every time there is change? Could this be why people are walking triggers much of the time? Because we are all constantly in a state of flux … never really ‘settled’?
When change comes, how does your body respond? Your mind? Do you find yourself tensing up? Pushing back? Rebelling?
To embrace change is a challenge all in itself. The pit of the stomach might feel like vomiting all over the place, your mind might be screaming in a mental agony, you may cry and holler to god or whomever you choose to make it stop, to keep it the same, to just make the uneasiness end, and comfort to once more be the base you find yourself in.
Unfortunately, when change comes, there is no thwarting it. Fight it as we may. (I know I am).
So, how do we ease our minds?
Personal Suggestions (may not be for all people):
1) Do not drink alcohol
2) Do not abuse drugs
3) Do not smoke (it dirties the energy, making one susceptible to energetic ‘attachments’)
4) Eat clean foods. Choose nearby, open farm raised meats if you eat it, and eggs and shop at local farmers markets when able.
5) Breathe intentionally. If anxiety or some stressful energy comes over, breathe, methodically, in and then out until eased. (Try a six second in breath, and a 6 second out breath.)
It is important that we support our bodies, our minds, especially in these times. We may not be able to gather, but Nature can replenish our supply. Let it.
It is also important we start supporting our local communities in other ways.
The days of frivolous behaviors are being left behind. It WILL cause discomfort, for the change will be great.
May inner fortitude and courage be yours as we transition into this new era.
Do not let go of the dreams, ideals, and creativity of youth. Whatever is happening, you’re able to keep the clarity and objectivity of your dreams alive.

Excerpts from Kabbalah and the practice of mystical Judaism ~ by rabbi David A. Cooper
Imagine you have a pure light shining within. If you close your eyes, you get a hint of this light glowing deep inside your being. Then say to yourself, “No matter what I may feel about myself, I know that I have a pure soul.”
The next step in this practice is to gently acknowledge that every person we encounter has a pure soul. Every time we see someone, we say quietly to ourselves, “There is a pure soul; there is another pure soul.” Notice that the person could be sweet and amenable, or could have an abrasive personality. It does not matter. The soul of every being is pure. If we continue this practice for everyone we meet, including those in whose presence we have negative feelings, the ways we relate to ourselves and to others will be dramatically affected. As simple as it seems, this exercise opens our hearts.

According to Isaac Lucia, there are fundamental divisions of soul types, such as between Cain and Abel. Whereas the simple reading of the story in Genesis is that Cain murders Abel, the esoteric reading is that each represents primordial Force. Abel represents chesed, the force of expansion; Cain represents gevorah, the force of contraction.
The unfolding of creation is the process of a continuous struggle between opposite poles; light and dark, give and take, up and down, right and left, life and death. The contention between Cain and Abel is the first of many descriptions in the Bible of the ongoing strain between opposing forces.
The Kabbalah of Luria says clearly that the goal for all of creation continues to be the fulfillment of Adam and Eves original task. First we must reinstate the awareness of the Garden of Eden, and then our charge is to redeem fallen sparks so that the universe rises to the next level: messianic consciousness.
…………………………………………………..
The soul in Jewish mysticism is one of the more essential aspects of creation itself. Just as the physical universe could not exist without energy, the spiritual dimension is based upon “soul-matter”. The kabbalistic viewpoint, of course, is that we could not have an inverse without the spiritual realm, and thus we could say that one of the pillars upon which creation rests is the soul.
…………………………………………………..
When we think about the soul, we have a tendency to embody it in some way. We give it an identity: my soul, your soul. We view it as an entity that is somehow connected to the body. Some say it arrives at birth; others say it arrives during gestation or at the moment of conception. Everyone agrees that the soul departs at death. During life it is with us; but perhaps sometimes it is other places as well. We are not sure where it goes after we die, but some say they know.
Linking the soul to an identity is a mistake because it requires a sense of separation. This is like saying that the electricity needed to power a home is distinct from its source at the generator plant. When we see an electrical appliance working, should we assume that the electricity belongs to it? Is the electricity in one toaster distinct from the electricity in the toaster in the adjacent home? Obviously, the electricity does not belong to any of the homes in question, for when the power at the main plant shuts down, every home in the neighborhood turns off.
So too with souls. There is a soul principle, a “great soul”, that embodies all souls.
A survey of religious and philosophical literature in Judaism shows that there are widely divergent points of view concerning the soul. The soul cannot be explored without delving into the mysteries of the purpose of life, reward, punishment, death, heaven, and hell. This may be why the soul is a subject that seems to cause an intellectual rash. One has the sense that a great deal of itching is going on when a philosopher or theologian discusses the soul.
Mystics, however, discuss the soul with disregard for logic, consistency, or concern about agreement with any accepted system. This is because a mystic “experiences” other realities and therefore has no doubt regarding their existence. Moreover, because these realities are not completely disconnected from material reality we see in front of our eyes, the conclusion is clear: some aspect of our material world mediates between realities. Thus, we could say that the soul is a medium that dissolves boundaries of consciousness.

Love is the Souls Sister
We can appreciate the soul better when we get to know her sister. Just as the soul transcends the limits of time and space, so does her sister: love. Does love have time boundaries? Can we give love shape? Sometimes it may seem to have qualities when we put limits on it. In fact, in some situations, we are able to feel the symptoms of love. But this is transient, and love remains intermediate, unbounded, timeless, and completely beyond our comprehension.
Love can be viewed as a unity, a ubiquitous oneness. Yet we experience love in its multiplicity: paternal love, maternal love, romantic love, passionate love, divine love, familial love, brotherly love, and so forth. Each of these expressions of love has a different quality. Each is its own reality.
Would you like to explain love to someone? How does it work? Why doesn’t it always work that way? How do we measure it? You mean we can never determine what pulls people together or what drives them apart? Of course, Love is a mystical experience. That is why it is called the soul’s sister.
Does the fact that we cannot explain love mean that it does not exist? Of course not. We all experience love. Soul is exactly like this. It transcends all limits of consciousness.

The Language of the Soul
Here are a few exercises that help us uncover the way the soul can be experienced. Each exercise can be done in less than five minutes. Pick any one of them.
1) Imagine yourself holding a newborn infant in your arms. Its eyes are open. You know that these eyes cannot focus, but they are looking straight into your own. Close your eyes and take two or three minutes to imagine this look and discover what it feels like.
2) Imagine you are holding an egg that has a live chick in it. Your hands are under a heat lamp, and you can feel the tap-tap of the chick trying to get out. Allow yourself to cradle this egg, feel the movement within, and imagine that as you hold the egg, the chick slowly breaks through the shell to freedom. Close your eyes and feel what this is like.
3) Try to remember the first time you felt that you were falling in love. Do you remember the physical experience? Did it affect your sense, the way you saw things, the way things tasted? What about falling in love was different from your normal, daily life? Let yourself dwell in this memory for a few minutes.
4) Imagine that you have finally met the wisest being that ever lived, whoever that may be. It may have been someone known, or someone completely hidden. In your imagination, notice what it would feel like to be this person. What question would you like to ask this person? Imagine what answer the person might give to your question.
To attune ourselves, we need to broaden our range and let go of preconceived notions. We must learn to hear, see, feel every nuance of our moment-to-moment experience. The language of the soul lives at the edges of thought, or behind it. It is symbolic, metaphoric, poetic. There is always hidden meaning just a little out of reach. It does not matter that we are unable to grasp it with our minds because another part of us is touched, and this is sufficient.
Despite the limitations of our subjective truth, Kabbalist’s believe that via the soul, we get information from other realities. The way we attune to other realities is by using contemplative methods to pierce the veils that obscure our degree of awareness.
