HYMN TO THE DIVINE MOTHER

Published May 15, 2018 by tindertender

DEVI PRAYER

English text by Julie (Julie Redstone)

The Divine Mother is everywhere.
She is in everything.
She is the Divine Essence that lives within all beings.
Her domain is the field of life, for she gives
to all beings the sustenance that is needed for life.

Her beauty lives in the natural world,
and spans the universes in all their splendor.
She has been called by many names,
for all traditions recognize Her.
Into each consciousness the knowledge is given
of the sacredness of life.
This sacredness IS the Mother.
She is the holy generator of the physical world,
joined to the heart and soul of every living thing.
All of the Earth is one with Her.
All beings of the Earth owe their life to Her,
for she is the Mother of all, the One who bestows
all gifts of life.
Her gifts come to the deserving and to the
non-deserving alike, for the sun does not choose
upon whom to shine.
She is the source of Divine blessing, the part
of the Oneness that bestows the graces that fill life.
We have not seen Her because her being is
cloaked in silence.
She emerges now as part of the Oneness where
she has always resided, blessing all, giving to all.
All who bow before Her are sustained by the life
within them.
All who honor Her are sustained by life’s gifts
both within themselves and beyond.
The purpose of existence is to join with Life that lives
in all dimensions and all realms of being.
It is the Mother that creates this evolving,
this unfolding journey,
for she is the fabric of Time itself,
the means by which all things grow.
She is the template for life that exists within Her —
the substance and form of all that shall ever come to be.
May all be blessed by the blessings of the
Divine Oneness.

statue of lady liberty holding the scales of justiceJustice will be done for the good of all. Take responsibility for your actions. The chaos in your life will end; natural order will be restored.

Be yourself. Your power is who you really are. Resist the urge to create a false identity. You will overcome adversity by developing your own strengths.

Healthy fierceness is required. Strengthen your physical body. Walk forward in pride and know that you can fight any battle. You need to strike a balance between masculine and feminine.

Happy Planet

Woman in rainWhere is the door to God?
In the sound of a barking dog,
In the ring of a hammer,
In a drop of rain,
In the face of
Everyone
I see.
Hafiz

Often we find ourselves so focused on tasks we do not look up long enough to notice what is surrounding us. Especially now days, everywhere we look heads bowed and intensity focused on the smart phone being carried. No one really sees each other any more. A great disconnect has occurred.

Goddess
I, the fiery life of divine wisdom,

I ignite the beauty of the plains,
I sparkle the waters,
I burn in the sun, and the moon, and the stars,
With wisdom I order all rightly …
I adorn all the Earth,
I am the breeze that nurtures all things green …
I am the rain coming from the dew
That causes the grasses to laugh with the joy of life.
I call forth the tears, the aroma of holy work.
I am the yearning for good.
Hildegard of Bingen

Life is beckoning us to take notice once more of its majesty. For too long the emphasis has been put on commercialism … what we can get, how much can we get, followed by, how can I stop others from taking what I’ve got.

Total disconnection from nature and all that provides what life needs, and disconnection, which has grown into disregard, for each other. THIS is what commercialism has brought us.

It is time to embrace the sacred, and to develop ways to protect it, for only in doing so will we get along … just as we’d like to, with a happy planet.

Say Good Morning To The Goddess

God is KingI look to my arm where I wear a symbol, a sacred symbol of Ghana which means God is King. This symbol is the only thing in this particular spot.

Recently, it was mentioned by a friend that sure, you can be strong, standing stoically against all odds, yet still you are alone.

Thinking of this, I vow to the symbol resting here, and what it represents, that there will be an embracing by the Goddess, Mother Earth, and all she stands for … Life. I really thought I was finished, but know now that I am far from it.

You see, the WE that make up this experience must come together. Some warn that the government is seeking to make people unified, for then they will be easier to lead around, to puppet as they please. The fact which is being missed is, when people unite it is they who decide what they will believe, how they will respond to circumstances, and what movement forward will be measured. Just because people unite does not make them sheep in any way.

The hearts of humanity are good and kind, deep within there is resident of this. Sure, there have been manipulations, it started in kindergarten maybe even before. Yet this wonder still resides in every person, maybe forgotten, yet there just the same.

I walked in the darkness, lost to the light. It was in no way a pleasant experience, it nearly took my life … it certainly poured great effort into it. Still I remain here and the brightness exists once more with a clarity that I was not aware of before. All who make it through the deep darkness will tell you the same, love cannot die. Never. Period. In fact it only increases as these trials are overcome, compassion growing for others who are suffering what we’ve experienced … judgement falls to the wayside as we send them love and care.

Beauty

No one ever said life was easy, it is not meant to be for this is a great opportunity to ‘cure’ the soul, to walk through the fires of pain. You beauty … your splendor increases every moment you breathe … just look at you, you shine!
