The Golden Cat

Published September 27, 2024 by tindertender

Great is the Golden Cat who treads
The Blue Roof Garden o’er our heads,
The never tired smiling One
That Human People call the Sun.

He stretches forth his paw at dawn
And though the blinds are closely drawn
His claws peek through like Rays of Light,
To catch the fluttering Bird of Night.

He smiles into the hayloft dim
And the brown Hay smiles back at him,
And when he strokes the Earth’s green fur
He makes the Fields and Meadows purr.

His face is one big Golden smile,
It measures round, at least a mile ~
How dull our World would be, and flat,
Without the Golden Pussy Cat!

Intentional Connections

Published September 26, 2024 by tindertender

Folks will pick a fight with you, just so they can have a role in your life.

They’ll love bomb you just to gain entry.

Where attention flows, energy goes.

Be aware of what you give your power to.

For they are quite intentional in approaching you.

You’ve got what they need!

A blessing.

A healing.

Sanity.

And in their mind, Power and Control.

An Originator

Treated as an unworthy guest in their own house

Transparency

Published September 25, 2024 by tindertender

“When you are transparent, you become unmistakable—no shadows, masks, or veils to blur the truth of who you are. In your transparency, others can look through you and into the core of your being, where your heart and essence glow with an unfiltered light. You stand as you are, clear and direct, with a kindness that needs no explanation.

There is no mystery to untangle, no enigma to decipher. You leave no one puzzled or lost in the aftermath of your words or actions. You are not a riddle but a presence fully understood. In your honesty, you refuse to hide. You carry the courage to show up fully, stripped of pretense or armor. You are bravery embodied, raw truth in human form.

In this nakedness, you don’t waver or seek approval. Your transparency is not a weakness but the purest strength. It is a declaration: “This is who I am”. You let yourself be seen, and in that openness, you stand out in a world that often shrouds itself in layers of pretense. Your authenticity shines like a beacon, guiding others toward their own.”

Cousin Itt

Published September 25, 2024 by tindertender

Awhile back I heard a masculine exclaim, “I just need to figure out what the F it is!”

And I remembered days long, long ago when my hair was to my waist, all nice and perfectly straight. I used to comb the hair in front and wear glasses and pretend to be “Cousin Itt”.

Memories … manifested into the present.

Strange, strange world.

We’re In This Love Together

Published September 25, 2024 by tindertender

It’s like a diamond ring
It’s a precious thing
And we never want to lose it
It’s like a favorite song
That we love to sing
Every time we hear the music

We’re in this love together
We got the kind that lasts forever
We’re in this love together
And like berries on the vine
It gets sweeter all the time

Its like a rainy night in candlelight
And, ooh it’s so romantic
We got the whole thing working
out so right
And it’s just the way we planned it

Tell ya
We’re in this love together
We got the kind that lasts forever
Don’t you know
We’re in this love together
And like berries on the vine
It gets sweeter all the time

We’re in this love together
We got the kind that lasts forever
We’re in this love together
And like berries on the vine
It gets sweeter all the time

I am safe.

I am protected.

My family divine knows exactly what’s happening, intimately connected.

He won’t leave me, he who claimed me. Unlike, completely, those who harm me.

Perfectly knowing, and perfectly capable and willing, he handles my tormentors without fail, giving exactly what they have coming.

I rest.

I need not worry, or wonder how to survive … I’m no longer alone.

My family from above has very scary friends from many places. I love our scary friends and family. So much. They are quite a bit more frightening than those who thought they were competing … with me.

No, I’m not scary at all.

I never wanted the fight.

After all this time, my load has been made light.

Grateful. Grateful. Grateful.

I’m never alone.

Intimately united in all ways with truest family divine, within, and without, time.

How I love you.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you, my beautiful, my scary, my everything, for this beautiful song on the day of love …

You’ll always be with me.

I love you.

I am grateful.

I’m never alone.

Protected.

Guided.

Guarded.

Our family divine, so glad you are here, my beautiful scary loves!!! Having you in my mental body is so much more pleasant than a skullcap full of adversaries!

She Is Goddess

Published September 24, 2024 by tindertender

She is Maiden, Mother and Crone
In one…

You will recognize her because she
makes genuine eye contact with whomever she meets…
She is not afraid to be direct and honest about how she feels

She charts her own course
And is willing to meet whatever comes
Because she has faith in her journey
She’s aware of her own strength

She delights in enabling the wellbeing and the empowerment of others
But she refuses to subject herself to energy drainers…
She sees through bullshit instantly
She knows how to protect herself
She is obedient to her own inner knowing,
She is willing to break the rules made by others
in order to be authentic to herself

Her truth comes directly through her heart
She uses her mind as the servant to manifest it

She is inwardly and outwardly aware
She responds more than she reacts
She no longer waters illusory drama
She no longer feels the need to control what is

She is deeply connected to her creative source
She is her own work of art in progress
She can create beauty from whatever is in front of her

She is in tune with her intuition and instinctual body
She lives in the present
Because she is willing to relinquish the past
And allow the future the space it needs to unfold

She understands that life is an ever changing flow from one moment to the next…
She willingly goes with it.

She feels deeply connected to the earth and stays close to nature,
She recognizes that she is not separate from it…
Being connected to nature is essential for her health and wellbeing

She has simplified her life
Released the non-essentials so that she can be spacious and free

She values her aloneness,
She waters her soul with it
But she also
values quality time with like minded souls

She doesn’t need a man to complete her
Her relationships are on an equal basis of respect and sharing
Unbridled sensual pleasure…

She has no time for gossip
She’s invested in raising the sisterhood up rather than cutting it down

She celebrates the beauty and power in other women
She celebrates the beauty and power within herself

She is just as willing to receive as she is to give
She fills her own cup for herself and overflows it for others

She understands the futility of unsolicited advice
So she shares her wisdom through living it

She envisions the healing of the world
She offers her gifts as a contribution towards it

Love is her religion
Unity is her gospel
Laughter is her grace

She loves to play through her inner child
Sing and dance through her inner maiden
She nurtures her body mind and spirit daily through her inner mother

Others seek her for her wisdom
Are irresistibly drawn to her unpredictable mystery

They feel seen and accepted in her steady gaze…
Peaceful in her sacred space

They are shocked by her irreverent humor
But secretly inspired, uplifted,
Given permission to be themselves

She is Maiden, Mother and Crone
In one
She is Goddess

Cultural Assimilation of Native Americans

Published September 21, 2024 by tindertender

Imagine you just recently had your 4th birthday & there’s a knock at the door. Who is it? A soldier who demands that you attend a residential school far from home. If your parents resisted, they were beaten & arrested.

After the residential school system was develop, it was mandatory for children as young as 4 to attend until they were 18 years old. Native children were prohibited from practicing their own culture or religion. School staff even went as far as bathing these kids in toxic chemicals to make them look more like Europeans.

Their long hair was cut & the breasts of young girls were binded to make them feel ashamed of their maturing bodies. You could only speak English or you would be harshly punished. Their tongues were repeatedly pierced with needles if they spoke anything other than English.

Other punishments included electrical shock, being put in cages, burning of hands, public strip searches in front of other children, & force feeding of one’s own vomit when they’re sick.

If any letters were written home, it was in English so parents did not even know how to read it. Both boys & girls were sexually abused & girls who got pregnant were forced to have an abortion & even pray for the forgiveness of their abusers.

Student deaths were so common that graveyards were usually part of the school’s architectural plans.

Upon returning home, these children were so lost that they were unable to communicate with their own families. That is why us Native Americans get so defensive when someone says, “Let it go, it happened in the past.”

This traumatic time in history should not be ignored. 🦅

🙏 In Memory of the 215 deceased children found at the Kamloops Indian Residential School. May they find Peace.
