She Sleeps with Dogs

Published August 17, 2025 by tindertender

A study conducted in 2018 by Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, found that women who sleep alongside their dogs tend to experience better sleep quality than those who share a bed with a human partner. Surveying 962 adult women across the United States, the research highlighted that dogs were less likely to interrupt sleep and often provided a greater sense of safety and comfort.

Dogs generally maintain consistent sleep patterns and are less likely to snore or move around unpredictably during the night. Many women also reported feeling more secure with a dog in bed, which may reduce anxiety and contribute to more restful sleep. In comparison, human partners were more frequently cited as sources of disturbance due to movement, noise and inconsistent sleep habits.

The study suggests that for women who value uninterrupted sleep and nighttime reassurance, sharing the bed with a dog may be more beneficial than sleeping next to a human companion.🤎🖤🩶

Enduring, Selfless Love

Published March 3, 2025 by tindertender

In the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle, where people walk past each other without noticing, a man stands out not for what he says, but for what he represents. He has no home, no wealth, and no certainty about what tomorrow will bring, but he possesses something far more valuable than all that: the unconditional love of his dogs. He lives on the streets, facing the unforgiving cold in winter and the scorching heat in summer. Despite the hardships, he never complains. He asks for nothing for himself, only for them. These dogs are his family, his reason to keep going.

Every morning, before the city awakens, he rises and gently strokes the backs of his companions who sleep by his side, trying to share the little warmth he has. He carefully adjusts the makeshift blankets he’s created from scraps of fabric, making sure they are comfortable and protected. While he endures hunger and loneliness, his only concern is ensuring his friends don’t feel the same abandonment. He shares with them every crumb he receives, sacrificing his own food so they won’t go hungry.

Some passersby look at him with curiosity, others with disdain. “If he can’t take care of himself, how can he take care of these dogs?” they wonder. But they don’t see what he does when no one is watching: how he checks their paws to make sure they’re not hurt, how he covers them with his body when it rains, how he speaks gently to them when they’re scared. To him, these dogs are not a burden, but his reason for being. Each wag of their tails is a silent thank you, each loving gaze a promise they’ll never abandon him.

So, night after night, he keeps going, no matter the cold or the obstacles. Because to him, these dogs are not just animals, they are proof that true love cannot be bought, but is given unconditionally, with the soul, expecting nothing in return.

The Golden Cat

Published September 27, 2024 by tindertender

Great is the Golden Cat who treads
The Blue Roof Garden o’er our heads,
The never tired smiling One
That Human People call the Sun.

He stretches forth his paw at dawn
And though the blinds are closely drawn
His claws peek through like Rays of Light,
To catch the fluttering Bird of Night.

He smiles into the hayloft dim
And the brown Hay smiles back at him,
And when he strokes the Earth’s green fur
He makes the Fields and Meadows purr.

His face is one big Golden smile,
It measures round, at least a mile ~
How dull our World would be, and flat,
Without the Golden Pussy Cat!

My Three Things

Published March 9, 2022 by tindertender

A while back I had a dream that I needed to evacuate my home. The people who came for me said I could bring three things.

My three things were:

Doggy fur child #1

Doggy fur child #2

And a small vial of essential oil

What would be your three things?

God ~ doG and 3,6,9

I believe the canine was gifted to us in this realm to remind us that love is real, the love of God is real, that it exists even when we doubt … doG is living here in the middle realm with us, the spelling of the name to remind us that mirrored above is home and our truest family, where truest love exists. Our beloved canine reminds us daily of this love, this loyalty, and the commitment to our well-being.

An attack on the canine is an indirect attack on God. doG has been our companion, our protector, our child, our friend, always loyal and willing to please, whatever makes us happy, even to its own demise.

I believe this kind of love is ours from above also. He sees all, and walks with us when we need it most. I have no doubt, as I am older with my own experiences to prove it. I need not prove it to anyone else.

There are beings here who have been eliminating competition, what they deem to be challenger of their dominance.

They know the canine keeps alive in us the truth of love. They torture them in science labs, they torture them for fun, they damage them emotionally and train them to harm. They do this to destroy our support system. They do the same things to us also in unison, shredding our connections to love and source.

I believe it is precisely this truth that causes a stir in me, an awareness I sometimes wish I did not have. It would have been easier to remain drugged asleep, programmed, unaware. What am I to do?

It is my intention to patiently wait this storm out. It is my intention to remain faithful. It is my intention to nurture and fortify my belief in my King, in His abilities and skill, and in His team … which includes me, and is likely why I’ve been under spiritual attack for so long.

The early morning of 2-28-2022 I was told, “In two weeks, or the 9th day, everything is going to change.”

Today is the 3rd of March. In 6 days, it will be the 9th.

3,6,9

The day everything changes.

Just A Dog …

Published March 30, 2021 by tindertender

From time to time, people tell me, “lighten up, it’s just a dog,” or “that’s a lot of money for just a dog.” They don’t understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for “just a dog.”

Some of my proudest moments have come about with “just a dog.” Many hours have passed and my only company was “just a dog,” but I did not once feel slighted.

Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by “just a dog,” and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of “just a dog” gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day.

If you, too, think it’s “just a dog,” then you will probably understand phrases like “just a friend,” “just a sunrise,” or “just a promise.”

“Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure and unbridled joy.

“Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person.

Because of “just a dog,” I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. So for me and folks like me, it’s not “just a dog” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment.

I hope that someday they can understand that it’s not “just a dog,” but the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a man/woman.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog,” just smile–because they “just don’t understand.”

Fur Babies

This is a real picture of a dog who was left at a shelter this week by an owner who discarded him without looking back.

Terrified, withdrawn and confused, he shrinks into the wall and lays in his own urine.

Next time you decide to buy that fluffy puppy from the pet store or go to a breeder charging way too much money, think of the thousands abandoned and left like this everyday.

Be a responsible pet owner or DON’T HAVE A PET.

These are children people … children, they NEED us …. stop being selfish.

How you treat the vulnerable says VOLUMES about you.
