Then I remembered ceremony on Saturday, a Buffalo Ceremony, and the spiritual gifting of name for a 2 month old baby girl … Shining White Sun Woman.
The memory filled me with a gentleness, and gratitude for being able to serve her beautiful mother and her siblings water during the long ceremony.
Then the lyrics from song rolled thru mind … Love will keep us alive … and suddenly I’m not feeling alone.
And I remember … Friggen awesome baby!! An exclamation of success.
I am so grateful that the agitation in me this morning was countered and balanced by this sweet memory and thoughts of togetherness and love.
