Late at night thoughts come and go as I lay in a state between worlds, conscious and subconscious, waking and sleep.
I considered spinning cocoons of light around certain situations in order to brighten the energy when I was in various places. Since I choose not to impose my will upon others preferred states, I soon came to the conclusion that it is better to spin a cocoon of light around myself, fluid, and since it was a cocoon of my making I could stay within it, or move in and out of it as I willed. From this point, in theory, it is possible to throw little spears of light into the smoky haze which emanates form different forms.
I consider the word and concept of ‘spears’, and yet again my view on the way light is utilized changes. There is no need to throw anything, whether positive or negative.
While considering all the ways to visualize this light and energy work, I was visited by Owl.
In the Navajo belief system, The Owl is the envoy of the supernatural world and earth-bound spirits.
Owl medicine is a feminine trait and is symbolically associated with clairvoyance, astral projection, and magic.
I continued to move in a world between waking and sleeping where it became clear that fighting does not win wars, fighting keeps the wars from ending. There must be new techniques embraced for bringing peace to this world if it is sincerely something the majority wish to happen.
As I came to this conclusion I was visited by Golden Eagle. The head of this majestic bird was tilted down as though peering at those on the ground. Its eyes were fierce.
Eagle Medicine is the power of the Great Spirit,
the connection to the Divine. It is the ability to live
in the realm of spirit, and yet remain connected
and balanced within the realm of Earth. Eagle
soars, and is quick to observe expansiveness within
the overall pattern of life. From the heights of the
clouds, Eagle is close to the heavens where the
Great Spirit dwells.

The energy generated by trying to force issues, or outcomes is utilized by those who oppose the results desired. It is important to relax, allowing the energetic input to mellow. Like a limp noodle it doesn’t have anything to offer the opposition as rigidity or force. There is less to be manipulated.
All people are having the same experience. We are watching each other as we do this. It is easy to make judgement about what we see rather then appreciating what each life brings to the whole. Rather than improving on areas of need, we tend to judge and punish.
Life is a river. When individuality is removed we can visualize all people on the banks of this river. Their fingertips are playing in the flow as it passes by … dabbling here and there in the experiences it offers.
Since this River of Life is beyond time, and yet within it, those of the past and the present and the future are all in line with their fingertips touching the flow. Millions, upon trillions of lives, united in this same stream, all energetic influences intertwined.
While writing of these late night thought forms I remember my instructor and what she said. In this work, if you come from a place of love, for the highest and best good for what people are able and willing to accept, unattached from outcomes or the need to impose our will on them, then the healing will be all that is needed. (not verbatim, but from memory this is the gist of what I absorbed from the lesson).
There is no ‘fail’ when there is simply love and a desire to promote peace and well-being.
