The Holy Male

Published November 3, 2019 by tindertender

I believe in sensitive and kind men.
I believe in the mystical men who believe in themselves.
I believe in men who seek temperance and peace inside them.
I believe in men poets, dreamers, magicians, writers, alchemists, artists, teachers, and angels.
I believe in men who like to dance and sing and make life a celebration.
I believe in men who embrace their wounded inner child, listen to him and embrace him true.
I believe in men who want to heal and help others to heal.
I believe in men who refuse to be slaves to their own wound and that despite the pain, they clean it and heal it patiently, with love and courage.
I believe in men who come from the stars and remember the power of their wings, the power of their hands and the power of their heart.
I believe in men who know of intuition and use it as their compass.
I believe in men who share freedom because they are free and do not know another way to live.
I believe in the men protective of women’s energy, who know how to read the look of their beloved and who do not intend to change it, simply accompany it wisely on their flight.
I believe in full men who don’t need anything from outside because they already know that everything has it inside.
I believe in men who make fire when they are cold, that take refuge in water when they are thirsty.
I believe in men with truthful eyes, they see themselves, and that’s why they love and respect every creature that exists on earth.
I believe in men, perfectly imperfect, because in that imperfection is where they also find their beauty.
I believe in sensitive men who know how to receive and give love in balance, who listen and who also speak, those who live and let them live.
I believe in men who live sexuality as sacred, because they know that it is a wonderful gift.
I believe in men with clear feelings, which are accessible.
I believe in men who walk barefoot and speak to the plants.
I believe in the tender and wild men at the same time.
I believe in the sacred male, and in all the divinity they have stood.

Honoring The Sacred

Published May 30, 2018 by tindertender

We meditate on the glory of that Being who has produced this universe; may He enlighten our minds. – Ralph H. Griffith’s tr.

This song has been rolling around in my mind. I woke this early morning to find it and share it with you.

In the city, disconnection from that which is sacred occurs, there really is no way to avoid it. This is why it is so important to remove the self from the concrete which hems people in and merge with the wilderness, to listen to birdsong, and to hear, and to see, the wind in the trees and the dance that takes place.

May peace find you today.

The Creation Of Humanity

Published March 28, 2018 by tindertender

Popol Vuh“Then spoke they who are called She Who Has Borne Children and He Who Has Begotten  Sons, the Framer and the Shaper, Sovereign and Quetzal Serpent:

“The dawn approaches, and our work is not successfully completed. A provider and a sustainer have yet to appear ~ a child of light, a son of light. Humanity has yet to appear to populate the face of the earth,” they said.

Thus they gathered together and joined their thoughts  in the darkness, in the night. They searched and they sifted. Here they thought and they pondered. Their thoughts came forth bright and clear. They discovered and established that which would become the flesh of humanity. This took place just a little before the appearance of the sun, moon, and stars above the heads of the Framer and the Shaper … Water was their blood. It became the blood of humanity.”

Water became the blood of humanity …

This leads one to ponder the sacredness of water in a whole new fashion. Regardless of what you currently believe, just reading these lines from the Maya Creation Story turns the mind toward an opening of possibilities.

Water and You

Water is of major importance to all living things; in some organisms, up to 90% of their body weight comes from water. Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water.

The blood plasma volume totals of 2.7–3.0 liters (2.8–3.2 quarts) in an average human. It is essentially an aqueous solution containing 92% water, 8% blood plasma proteins, and trace amounts of other materials.

When we walk along a river bed and there is garbage thrown down the embankment impossible to retrieve, I will now be thinking of this. Every time someone chooses to pee in the river, or the pool, I will think of this. Waters are not only sacred for the life which lives there, it is sacred for all life, for it truly sustains us in many more ways than the few we’ve been told about.

The Privatization of Water: Nestlé Denies that Water is a Fundamental Human Right

https://www.globalresearch.ca/the-privatisation-of-water-nestle-denies-that-water-is-a-fundamental-human-right/5332238

How can this man, or anyone at all declare that water is not a fundamental human right when it is the “life blood” of ALL LIFE? Why are there still people purchasing waters that this company has stolen from others for profit, while the children who have been robbed of their life source get sick and die? Is no one aware of this?

Sacred Union

sacred union
Our responsibility is to be open and direct. What is the best approach? Me and you, you and they, they and me.

~ Trust your intuition
~ Don’t be fooled by the mirage
~ Don’t be swayed by shortcuts and flattery

Sacred Union: friendships, family, romance ~ embrace the beauty of these things yet do not hold too tight. Allowing freedom to be who and what we are, all parties, shows a consideration and respect for person-hood that can never be faked. I personally do my best to enter these relationships with honor, and leave them if there is none.

Observe, deduce, respond ~ stay or move on … lessons will await us wherever we choose to be. They are all blessings, even though some of them appear to be otherwise.
