Today is a day to focus on healing. If my body needs healing, I attend to what I need to do physically. And I also heal my thoughts. I keep my thoughts and ideas positive, and let go of old hurts and ideas that have made me unhappy. I release those old ways of thinking and become a source of healing – for myself and others.
Observe … Do not let ‘outside forces’ disrupt your peace of mind and rational decisions.
Longing for what once was is a form of living in the past … let it go, let ‘them’ go … focus on the present moment and what you can do to make it the best possible moment.
Look inside yourself, not at what another may bring to make your day better. Self-reliance, self-love, recognize your own personal value and power to shift and mold your energy and environment.
Smile whenever you can. It will “lift a mood”.
Worrying about the negatives that may come is the same as being fearful of death. It is a complete waste of the “now” energy.
When you focus on suffering, it is an open invitation for more of it to enter your life. Instead, focus on the beautiful things in life, the things that bring a smile to your lips and put a little song in your heart.
Remember being a child in school and doing something naughty and having to write on the chalk board “I will not ….” or something to that affect?
Buy a notepad and fill a page with affirmation, just like that. Line after line repeat it, let it flood your mind for a moment.
I AM Strong … I AM Powerful … I AM Beautiful … I AM Blessed … I AM Worthy … I AM Capable … I AM Free … I AM Enough …
Whatever affirmation you choose, write it, repeat it, grow it in your heart and mind. Let it fill your world, your ‘space’ and generate a new creation for yourself, a new way of thinking and being in this world.
“We are an awareness; we are not objects; we have no solidity. We are boundless.”
“The basic difference between an ordinary man and a warrior is that a warrior takes everything as a challenge while an ordinary man takes everything either as a blessing g or as a curse.”
“Man doesn’t move between good and evil. His true movement is between negativeness and positiveness.”
My name is Pride. I am a cheater. I cheat you of your God-given destiny… because you demand your own way. I cheat you of contentment… because you “deserve better than this.” I cheat you of knowledge… because you already know it all. I cheat you of healing… because you are too full of you to forgive. I cheat you of holiness… because you refuse to admit when you are wrong. I cheat you of vision… because you’d rather look in the mirror than out a window. I cheat you of genuine friendship… because nobody’s going to know the real you. I cheat you of love… because real romance demands sacrifice. I cheat you of greatness in heaven… because you refuse to wash another’s feet on earth. I cheat you of God’s glory… because I convinced you to seek your own. My name is Pride. I am a cheater. You like me because you think I’m always looking out for you. Untrue. I’m looking to make a fool of you. God has so much for you, I admit, but don’t worry… If you stick with me you’ll never know.
Today is a day to focus on wisdom. Wisdom is not based on how smart I am, or how smart others think I am. Knowledge comes from the outside. Wisdom comes from within. I can be open to my experiences throughout the day and process them, evaluate them, add them to what I know. Synthesizing all of my experience adds to my wisdom. Today I will be open to this inner knowledge, and try to recognize it in others as well.
Today is a day to focus on removing obstacles. Some days it feels like doors shut, roadblocks go up, stairs become steeper. Obstacles can teach me things, I know. But sometimes enough is enough and it is time to clear them out. Today I remove any obstacles of thought or action that are keeping me from reaching my goals. These obstacles will diminish and my way will be made clear.
An elderly woman got on a bus and sat down. At the next stop, a strong, grumpy young woman climbed up and sat down sharply beside the old woman, hitting her with her numerous bags.
When she saw that the elderly woman remained silent, the young woman asked her why she had not complained when she hit her with her bags.
The elderly woman replied with a smile: “There is no need to be rude or discuss something so insignificant, as my trip next to you is short because I am going to get off at the next stop.”
This answer deserves to be written in gold letters: “There is no need to discuss something so insignificant, because our journey together is too short.”
Each of us must understand that our time in this world is so short, that darkening with struggles, useless arguments, jealousy, not forgiving others, discontent and an attitude of constant discovery is a ridiculous waste of time and energy.
Did someone break your heart ? Stay calm. The trip is too short.
Did someone betray you, intimidate, cheat or humiliate you? Relax. Excuse. The trip is too short.
Did someone insult you without reason ? Stay calm. Ignore it. The trip is too short.
Did a neighbor comment on the chat that you didn’t like ? Stay calm. Ignore him. Forgive that. The trip is too short.
Whatever the problem someone has brought us, remember that our journey together is too short.
No one knows the length of that trip. Nobody knows when it will arrive at its stop. Our trip together is too short.
We will appreciate friends and family.
Let us be respectful, kind and forgive, we will be filled with gratitude and joy, after all our trip together is very short.
