“Medusa teaches us that we have the right to defend ourselves. So often we are taught that we need to put up with the actions of others in a quiet way, demurely accepting what others would put upon us. She shows us that we need to stand our ground when someone would do us harm. We are not here to quietly accept the intentions of others. We have the right to be safe.
Medusa tells us to know our power and to honor the gifts that swim within our veins, even though sometimes it may feel like more of a curse than a blessing. She brings us the wisdom of the snake, of transformation and of rebirth. She asks that we too hold up the mirrored shield towards those that would wish us ill and reflect back upon them what they have created.
Medusa reminds us that there will always be those who will spit venom at us, in word and deed. That does not make them right. We are not here to be the plaything of others. We are Sacred Priestesses of the Divine. And we will not back down.”
Today is a day to focus on right action. Negative thoughts and feelings don’t lead to right actions. I need to let those thoughts, feelings, and ideas go and make all of my thoughts right thoughts. Right thoughts lead to right actions. Right actions lead to good results. Today I welcome only good things into my life.
“Lots of people hardly ever feel real soil under their feet, see plants grow except in flower pots, or get far enough beyond the street light to catch the enchantment of a night sky studded with stars. When people live far from scenes of the Great Spirit’s making, it’s easy for them to forget His laws.” –Tatanga Mani (Walking Buffalo), STONEY
Nature is life’s greatest teacher. The natural laws are hidden in nature. Hidden are solutions to everyday problems such as; conflict resolution, how to forgive, lessons about differences, how to manage organizations, how to think. Hidden are feelings. You can look at something and you will feel it. At night, have you ever looked at the sky when there are no clouds? As you look at all the stars, your heart will become very joyful. You will walk away feeling joyful and peaceful. We need to visit nature so we can see and feel these things.
My Creator, let me learn nature’s lessons.

Shadow: Share Your Thoughts ~ You have hopes, dreams, goals and ideas. Do not guard your ideas jealously nor keep them locked within for fear that another may steal them or offer ridicule instead of support. It is time to share your vision. Tell Great Spirit and Gaia of your dreams and hopes so they may send you what you need. Speak of your dreams to others. Connect with those who share your goals and hopes for they may be able to help you realize your dreams sooner.
Soul: Know You Belong ~ You have place. You are special. Do not change who you are just so others might accept you. Do not dishonor your truths by allowing someone else to tell you who you must be. Change made just so you fit the expectations or social criteria of a clique or group does not honor you. You do not need to change in order to belong. You are a blessed child of Gaia and Great Spirit and belong simply because you are.
Let the Two Become One: Wash Away Your Burdens ~ As you move through life, you have undoubtedly experienced moments that have inspired feelings of regret, remorse, shame and guilt. You have made promises you have not been able to keep. You have judged and blamed yourself and others. You have burdened yourself with feelings born of acts that cannot be undone, which still bind you to the past. It is time to forgive. It is time to lie down in the healing waters and let them wash away your burdens so you can move forward with Spirit cleansed.

Let the Two Become One ~ Share yourself with the one you love. Be their best friend and let them be yours. Let your trust in each other be unshakeable, and your love be strengthened by knowing and accepting each other’s flaws and weaknesses, and still loving each other despite them. Give yourself completely, trusting that you will not lose your independence or sense of self, but instead become two halves of a stronger, loving whole.
Need Your Dreams ~ Your Dreams are a powerful tool for increasing self-awareness for they contain within them the untethered truth. Whether it be a dream or a nightmare, they are keys to understanding your inner self – both your joys and your fears. Commune with GAIA and Great Spirit in the stillness of your slumber; learn to read and interpret your dreams. Listen to what they tell you. Pay close attention to how they make you feel. Need what they reveal and learn who you are and who you wish to be.
Seek Your Destiny ~ You have purpose and reason for being. You could have one or even several destinies. Are you afraid to believe in destiny because others may laugh? Don’t be. It could be as simple as taking a moment to look within and discover those things that you love most passionately and bring them out into the light. By you will never know if you are afraid to step through the doorway and see what’s on the other side. Trust that everything you hope and dream of will be there waiting for you.
The Situation: Trust in the Unknown ~ Trust that your path is unfolding exactly as it needs to. You have a personal relationship with the Great Father. Know that he is lovingly leading you forward.
What You Need To Do: Stand Your Ground ~ Hold firm to what you believe in or are focusing on, because it is absolutely right. Know that Heaven and Earth are supporting you.
Once, I ran from fear so fear controlled me. Until I learned to hold fear like a newborn. Listen to it, but not give in. Honour it, but not worship it. Fear could not stop me anymore. I walked with courage into the storm. I still have fear, but it does not have me.
Once, I was ashamed of who I was. I invited shame into my heart. I let it burn. It told me, “I am only trying to protect your vulnerability”. I thanked shame dearly, and stepped into life anyway, unashamed, with shame as a lover.
Once, I had great sadness buried deep inside. I invited it to come out and play. I wept oceans. My tear ducts ran dry. And I found joy right there. Right at the core of my sorrow. It was heartbreak that taught me how to love.
Once, I had anxiety. A mind that wouldn’t stop. Thoughts that wouldn’t be silent. So I stopped trying to silence them. And I dropped out of the mind, and into the Earth. Into the mud. Where I was held strong like a tree, unshakeable, safe.
Once, anger burned in the depths. I called anger into the light of myself. I felt its shocking power. I let my heart pound and my blood boil. Listened to it, finally. And it screamed, “Respect yourself fiercely now!”. “Speak your truth with passion!”. “Say no when you mean no!”. “Walk your path with courage!”. “Let no one speak for you!” Anger became an honest friend. A truthful guide. A beautiful wild child.
Once, loneliness cut deep. I tried to distract and numb myself. Ran to people and places and things. Even pretended I was “happy”. But soon I could not run anymore. And I tumbled into the heart of loneliness. And I died and was reborn into an exquisite solitude and stillness. That connected me to all things. So I was not lonely, but alone with All Life. My heart One with all other hearts.
Once, I ran from difficult feelings. Now, they are my advisors, confidants, friends, and they all have a home in me, and they all belong and have dignity. I am sensitive, soft, fragile, my arms wrapped around all my inner children. And in my sensitivity, power. In my fragility, an unshakeable Presence.
In the depths of my wounds, in what I had named “darkness”, I found a blazing Light that guides me now in battle.
“Don’t be afraid to cry. It will free your mind of sorrowful thoughts.” ~ Don Talayesva, HOPI
Human beings function from choice. We can choose to stuff things, or we can choose to let go of things. If we choose to stuff things, then we will feel a heaviness, or sorrow, self pity or fear. Sometimes we feel the need to cry. Sometimes we are taught it is not okay to cry. The creator designed the human being to cry. Crying is a release. This release allows us to let go of thoughts that are not helping us so we can open to new thoughts that will help. Crying is natural for women and men.
Grandfather, if I need to cry, let me realize it’s a natural process and help me to let go.

As most of us are busy trying to create a reality for ourselves that is healthy, happy and whole, there are others working against us.
You see, their goal is to manipulate the reality of everyone around them … in this way, they manipulate their own.
Two kinds of players …
The honest, who keep to themselves,
And the greedy, who get a kick out of disrupting the lives of others. This gives them a sense of power … and it may even be rewarded by those higher up in the game, doing the same.
The question is …
Are we aware of this fact? Or are we being pulled here and there, at the whim of another, or others.
It is easy to tell ourself we will not be manipulated, but are we telling ourself the truth? How can this be truth when we cannot see the bigger picture? The game … the hoopla … the hoops we continuously jump through at the guidance of others?
Reality …. it’s tough, especially when we cannot see it.
I did not watch the debate more than 15 minutes last night. Two grown men, calling each other liars …. like arguing children. And people are caught up in it as if it is the most important thing in this world.
Who is creating reality? Arguing children, or you?
It’s plain to see should one step back and simply observe without getting emotionally entangled. It takes practice … and time is short.
Stepping back now would be the wise thing to do.
Stop the drink, the drug, the mind altering substances which inhibit clear thinking.
Unless of course you enjoy being played ….
Then by all miens, continue.
Realities are being designed, right now. The one you buy in to will be yours for some time.
Choose wisely.
I say these things for my benefit, as much as yours.
What you choose now will be your reality for years to come.
