Sleep aides such as zzz quill or any other put the sleeping subconscious into a lower state, a lower realm, where beings plant seeds into the consciousness. These seeds affect the waking mind, knowingly or unknowingly.
Drinking tea before bed can put one into a higher realm, but know this, the boogie man gets bigger the higher you go, so to do this on a regular basis can be dangerous as well.
It is best to go to sleep without these things, working consciously to raise one’s state of mind while awake so the sleep pattern is level, balanced between the higher and lower realms. This is where we are meant to be, in balance.
Pharmaceuticals and OTC sleep aides, alcohol and illegal drugs throw this balance off, affecting the waking state, and therefore affect the balance of the seen realm we walk in during our waking hours.
So often our subconscious is “programmed” while we sleep. The manipulators use our own voice to do so.
I was between sleep and waking when I heard a thought pass thru my mind … I am a coward.
Well, I knew right away that was not MY thought, but an implant. No way would I ever say that about myself.
So I countered … and every time I came close to consciousness, I repeated …
I Am Courageous.
I Am Brave.
I Am kindness.
I Am Love.
I Am Compassion.
I Am Care.
I had many experiences in the astral last night intended to cause fear in me. The energies were dark and quite gross in the solar plexus … I breathed into it, and released it. I will not own the programming. The attempted programming.
Know this … those negative thoughts rolling around in your head are NOT yours, but a scheme from the manipulators in the unseen, to weaken you, to strip you of your courage and personal value.

I’ve been testing the Blue Lotus Flower and something called Dream Herb for lucid dreaming. It seems to help. I was told smoking is the best way to get the herb into the system, but I do not like to smoke. I will try it as a tea blend instead. I am curious what tradition calls for.
