Neuroplasticity happens when connections are made across the neural network in our brain. Essentially, our brain creates super-highways that it travels quickly in response to outside stimuli. Thought patterns that are repeated often create massive highways that the thought travels on. The more the thought occurs, the more it will occur.
One of the most effective ways to reprogram the mind, to reformat the consciousness, is through using affirmative statements. I share with you examples that you may find helpful should you wish to use them to assist in reformatting the thinking mind.
I rise above repetitive cycles.
I sit with my heart. I take my time. I respond appropriately.
I unleash my energy from unhealthy patterns.
I transition into a new way of being.
Divine discernment lets me know when to go, when to stop, and when to drop into the space in between.
This is a wonderful time to switch-up the order in which things are done.
I tune into the deep well of compassion.
I am alert to seemingly random input which gives me clues and ideas that have not occurred to me yet.
Others will not respect my emotional boundaries that I set within relationship if I do not respect them myself.
I love myself and honor my truths and dreams. I treat myself with the same care that I wish others to treat me.
I begin and end my day in gratitude.
I continue to follow the cosmic guidance that comes my way.
I have otherworldly support coming to me from my friends from the stars.
I am in relationship to all that is.
There are no longer meaningless parts of life that burden or encumber me.
I move toward true family and a meaningful life.
My most difficult challenges have taught me the most valuable lessons, and made me more resourceful and resilient than I would otherwise be.
I revel in blessings discovered in the most unlikely people and places.
I release what I tell myself I am. I release what others have said I ought to be.
