Affirmations ~ December 13, 2021

Neuroplasticity happens when connections are made across the neural network in our brain. Essentially, our brain creates super-highways that it travels quickly in response to outside stimuli. Thought patterns that are repeated often create massive highways that the thought travels on. The more the thought occurs, the more it will occur.

One of the most effective ways to reprogram the mind, to reformat the consciousness, is through using affirmative statements. I share with you examples that you may find helpful should you wish to use them to assist in reformatting the thinking mind.

I have the power to help myself, to make wonderful choices, to forge my own destiny.

I no longer ask for permission to come and go.

I embrace my potential.

I declare my independence.

I do not adopt others’ opinions of me as my own. I release myself from their judgement.

I stand outside the cyclic loop.

I change the pattern for myself, despite others’ disapproval.

I challenge the order in which things are done.

I rework traditions so they are more aligned with the way I see the world.

I have an unending list of things to be grateful for.

I behold the many miracles of my life.

I practice radical gratitude.

My dreams can become reality. I begin a detailed plan on what is realistic and achievable.

I have been challenged, and I have successfully entered a new cycle.

I address the balance between being and doing.

I direct the purpose of my process toward positive global ends.

The purpose of all energy gifted by Great Spirit is to heal. Mend the sacred hoop of life. I focus on this healing through my words and actions.

I honor the legacy of Light that is my birthright, the light of wisdom, courage, love and respect.

I accept nourishment and support from my ancestral lines, from the light shone before me.
