Affirmations ~ November 24, 2021

Neuroplasticity happens when connections are made across the neural network in our brain. Essentially, our brain creates super-highways that it travels quickly in response to outside stimuli. Thought patterns that are repeated often create massive highways that the thought travels on. The more the thought occurs, the more it will occur.

One of the most effective ways to reprogram the mind, to reformat the consciousness, is through using affirmative statements. I share with you examples that you may find helpful should you wish to use them to assist in reformatting the thinking mind.

Joan of Arc. Jules Bastien-Lepage, 1897. Oil on canvas.

I stay centered in my heart.

I stay true to myself.

I let my ideas live. I let them be without judgement.

I honor life on this planet.

I open myself to receive more nurturing.

I value myself.

I practice patience while I await resolution to that which has challenged me.

I refuse to be conquered by fear.

I remain faithful to love.

I am loved by the Universe.

My every need is witnessed and responded to.

I open to receive this love, this kindness.

I accept restoration.

I am worthy of such love and attention.

I seek the mirror that reflects back to me my own greatness and beauty.

I behold myself without judgement and I let fear fall away.

I step back from others responses to me.

I stop taking on the feelings of others.

I let external perceptions go.

I visualize my space filled with great love. I focus on the light within me. This light shines out of me.

I harness the power of the unconscious mind to affect change and healing in my life.

I trust my feelings.
