As I drove to work yesterday morning, I was given the most beautiful birthday present!!! The sun greeted me, and peeked from behind the clouds, showing here, then ducking away and then showing again. Hide and Seek!! I was amazed by this gorgeous sunrise and am excited to see what it brings THIS morning!!
Blessings to begin the new year, the new life. This reminds me of how much ALL life on this planet is loved, the sun keeps showing up for us, growing our foods, providing Vitamin D, giving us warmth, and so much more.
Let us not forget the precious gift we receive each and every day.
The beauty behind the words of this song touches my soul, and I remember … Perhaps you do too.
We all have memories, and if we are fortunate, this is one of them. Enveloping love energies, within and without our bodies and minds, filling our heart until we thought it might burst.
The warmth of love is more than a memory though. When we allow our vulnerabilities to come forth, when we gift ourselves the privilege of experiencing such love, without fear of what others may think of it, we will be free.
My hope is that all people will be able to say, yes, I know what this feels like. My hope is that once they do, they will ensure actions take place in their lives which grow this love like the finest and most beautiful and nourishing garden there ever was.
This morning as I drove to my destination I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed the license plate of the vehicle behind me ended in 333. I thought “hmm that’s odd, usually it’s 444.” So I pondered the triple threes, wondering of the message.
A short time later a vehicle in front of me pulled to the right lane and lo and behold, the vehicle there now had a license plate which ended in 333. Now there was one in front and one behind.
I arrive to my destination and look it up.
The number 3 represents the Holy Trinity, it is also the number of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity.
There are many things the number 3 represents, however, this morning I feel the embrace of Love. I will ride with this all day, and on into the future.
You can be certain that it’s coming – an incredible millennium that will be ushered in after Christ’s return. And the devil doesn’t want you to know about his 1,000-year prison sentence because it reveals his true character.
The resurrection of the righteous begins the 1,000 years. The resurrection of the wicked ends the 1,000 years
“These came to life again and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4
This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. Revelation 20:5, 6.
What exactly are the symptoms of the beginnings of the First Resurrection? Do you suppose it is the lifting of the veil, the fog that has clouded the minds of humanity for so long? If so, then it certainly is occurring, right now.
The Bible says that Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit during the 1,000 years. What is this pit?
The word for “bottomless pit” in the original Greek is “abussos,” or abyss. That same word is used in the Greek version of the Old Testament in Genesis 1:2 in connection with the creation of the earth, but there it is translated “deep.” “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” How interesting! The words “deep,” “bottomless pit,” and “abyss” here refer to the same thing–the earth in its totally dark, disorganized form before God made order of it. Jeremiah, in describing this earth during the 1,000 years, used virtually the same terms as these in Genesis 1:2: “without form and void,” “no light,” “no man,” ‘black.” Jeremiah 4:23, 25, 28. So the battered, dark earth with no people alive will be called the bottomless pit, or abyss, during the 1,000 years just as it was in the beginning before Creation was completed. Isaiah 24:22 also speaks of Satan and his angels during the 1,000 years as “gathered in the pit” and “shut up in the prison.”
What is the chain that binds Satan? Why is he bound?
The chain is symbolic, a chain of circumstances. A spirit being cannot be confined with a literal chain. Satan is “tied down” because he has no people to deceive. The wicked are all dead and the righteous are all in heaven. The Lord confines the devil to this earth so he cannot roam the universe hoping to find someone to deceive. Forcing the devil to stay on the earth, alone with his demons for a thousand years with no one to deceive, will be for him the most galling chain ever forged.
What happens to the wicked–living and dead–at Jesus’ second coming?
“With the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.” Isaiah 11:4. “When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God.” 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8. “Let the wicked perish at the presence of God.” Psalms 68:2. “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.” Revelation 20:5.
We live in an ongoing crisis, in the midst of a struggle for truth and meaning in a world gone wrong. Not simply a clash of civilizations or collapse of culture, but a battle for the Soul of the World and a search for the underlying unity and hidden vitality of life. For, if there is no change at the level of soul, there can be no real change at the level of the common world. Soul is the light hidden in the darkness and the natural energy of connection that tries to awaken just as things fall apart.
Even as fears about the world accumulate and chaos stirs there can be an acceleration of ‘calling’ as the soul would have each of us find our genuine path and way to contribute to life.
No solitary idea or fixed belief can shift the weight of the world towards a meaningful future; but the accumulated vitality of many souls awakening with lived imagination can become a force for truth and healing in this troubled world. Healing is a revolutionary act and we are here to awaken to the true nature of our own souls and become active agents of ongoing creation.
