Dose, After Dose ~ Keep It

It’s strange, I thought drinking kombucha would balance the stomach bacteria, making it easier for foods to be digested. That could still be the case, and the fact I haven’t been eating too healthy lately might be the culprit.

I’ve jumped on the political train the last few days, and boy oh boy, do I want off. People are acting crazy … attacking each other, making an inter-country battle with each other rather than working for the common good of all.

I know how this President must feel, trying so hard to do what is right for the country and it’s people while they slander and attack his every move, his every word. I, at one time, had to do battle with the social security administration for about a year, all the while the one I was fighting for told me nearly daily I was wasting my time, that I would never succeed (he was wrong). Working hard for the benefit of someone who constantly attacks your efforts gets pretty old, pretty fast. But when you care, you continue to do your best for them.

It is also obvious that for many people, someone’s best efforts will never be good enough. Some folks gravitate toward the negative aspects in a situation, while others choose to see the positive aspects, the possibilities.

I think I’ll take an exit for awhile and just observe people as they bash each other. It is not pretty, no where near, for we see the lack of care for each other growing amid those who choose the internal war, while compassion grows between those who work together so that each working member benefits from each other’s contributions. By this, I mean the ‘politicians’ getting off their high horses and mingling with the people they claim to care about, being partners with, instead of ‘lords’ over.

I swear, as tricky and troublesome as those in spirit can sometimes be, I wonder which life form (human or otherwise) is actually more worthy of my attention. I think I’ll just go snuggle up with my pups. At least they have a consistent dose of love to give.
