Present In This Silence

You say that I have changed, that I am not the same as I once was. You are mistaken. I am exactly as I once was, the only difference being I have added to it, I have grown, I have become more than I was before.

Distraction, you have supplied plenty of, will not hinder this growth, this expansion of self. I refuse to remain in a little box, stagnant and only listening to what you would like me to. No, I will stretch my wings until the day I die, then I will fly.

Silently, yet quite clear, a suggestion is made.

“You’ve got to let it go! If you don’t, they’ll keep jerking you around. Speak to me. The one who always hears but chooses not to fill your head with clutter, leaving room for you to interpret the world using your own capacity without interference. Rather than talk to them, talk to me. Put yourself on that path of long ago. See the trail, see the road. Visualize the conversation, and then have one.”

The one who supports you makes suggestions and does not demand … respects your freedom and does not enslave you … loves you for your uniqueness and does not insist you change to please them … reflects the goodness in you when your eyes gaze deeply into their own, and makes it easy to see how pure and spectacular you’ve always been, and always will be.

Bringing peace to a fearful world, to a fearful mind … there is no greater responsibility.

How do you eliminate fear? How do you eliminate greed and the struggle for power, or dominance?

This work is personal. Love cannot be demanded of others, just as a change of personality cannot be forced upon anyone. Those times are gone.

The future is space where all people will be free, working together for the benefit of the whole. There will be suffering and pain along the way. There are those who will never choose to be anything but harmful to their fellow man, or animals, or toward the earth. This change, this shift, will require a sort of cleansing … and by this I mean, those who choose to live by the sword will die by the sword until there aren’t any people left who choose that path.

Do you suppose the time is near when people will decide that killing and fear mongering is not the profession of choice? It seems more and more people are hopping on the war train. But perhaps this is the crux of the situation … many will fight, until the fighting ends.

Choice … it seems simple enough.

Individually, we are creators of our life. Collectively, we choose to assist each other or to use and abuse each other, creating circumstances which have potential for rebound … rebound of the positive, or of the negative.

Some ‘leaders’ are fine with the suffering of the people, as long as they are feared. Again, it comes back to fear, that pesky destroyer of families, of culture, of life.

I watch as people project their energies into whatever cause someone else dictates … war, behavior and decisions made by others, beliefs and religions, diet and dress, speech and mannerisms. Humanity moves about listening to these suggestions and then … just as a youngster who longs to be part of the ‘in crowd’ they take action for whatever they think will bring them acceptance, or some sort of respect.

Too often the energies poured into the agenda of someone else is not honored. C’mon, people die for someone else’s ideals … Losing their own life before they’ve even had a chance to discover the depths of their own hearts, or see the hidden pools of yumminess in their own eyes when peering at their reflection.

This is called ‘stolen life’ by the puppet master … who is not a master at all. The true ‘master’ is the one who encourages each individual to become master of his or her own mind, heart, spirit, and soul.

Look at your life. See who is pulling your strings, take back your power. Own it. The creation of the future, the one you will be reborn in to (believe it or not), is your choice. Beauty? Or shit.

And remember, wealth of any kind cannot be horded, for eventually all things will be redistributed, and the experiences one provides for others will become their own.
