“She has the strength of a thousand suns”, they said … or was it only herself speaking? What is it like, knowing life is so … very … large? What is perceived with the mind through emotion is just the tip of the iceberg. Life is much more vast than that small understanding. It is so large, understanding ceases to exist!
Uncovering the inner most portions of self is like the best present ever! There is a time when you may feel like you “know” you … but didn’t you feel the same ten years ago? And are you that same person you were then?
This package we were born into holds treasures beyond words.
On the job site, or in relationships of all kinds, there may be a ‘holding back’ of heartfelt ideas or desires. There may be a twinge of fear, or shame attached to it. Through life others may have instilled the idea that the sweet inner fire of you is a thing that should be doused.
Underneath the programming, when the heart and the inner parts of self are delved in to, beautiful surprises begin to show up. When opportunity arises to try something new … one day, rather than saying no thanks, instead the answer may be, “Why not? I may not be good at it, but I might just be, as well!” And the effort is made, and the answer as to whether it is something one would wish to add to the tool belt of knowledge is discovered.
Try, try, try again. All that which does not harm self or others, when opportunity arises, try it.
How many gifts will you discover buried ‘neath that barrier that has been created? Are you a painter, a writer, a food preserver, a gardener, a medicine man, or woman?
In life, attention is often on finding the treasures within others, our partner, children, friends, acquaintances. Very rarely does one look inside for the treasure, they’ve instead taken on others opinions of what their personal treasure is, or is not.
Solitude is a blessing, even if only an hour a day. Sit, quietly with personal thoughts and see what relations on the “larger side of life” may offer you.
