Drama can be extremely tiring! I wonder why so many people wish to instill the feeling of inadequacy and insufficiency in others. Could it be they are damaged and must try to tear down the world around them?
Overcoming doubt is not a challenge for the faint of heart. A fierceness must be lived, but in balance with a gentleness which can only be ‘cured’ by the experience of dismay and disappointment.
How does one unbind the self?

Shedding beliefs that have been embedded in the psyche isn’t easy. Words spoken by others play in the mind like an old worn out record, memories fade but never really disappear. For most of us what we hear about ourselves plays over and over, so often, that one day it may be mistaken for an actual personal thought or belief.
From my perspective, the best way to ‘combat’ living memories which spawn emotional charges is to counter them with positive responses, new phrases created by self. I have challenged these memories which have lived in my mind for so long and am pleased to notice clean thoughts of my inner house are multiplying while the ‘others’ fade.
Balance is coming along nicely and I plan on enjoying every minute of it. Of course there are moments which spring up where the emotional energies are a bit amped. But right away, or nearly so, it settles and an even flow remains. Maybe this is the true work of humans in life … Learning to manage the flow of energies while in the densest of forms … for once this form changes, the spigot will be in the ON position, all the time.
Too often humans are willing to embrace and absorb anything negative, however when something of a positive nature crosses the path, it is met by a blockage in the consciousness. Walls are constructed everywhere … in the mind, between countries, in our languages (communication). A great effort must be made to soften and become open and receptive to all things which align with love.
Gifting each other gentleness which requires no return is a natural skill we brought with us when we entered this world. Something dwelling here sets about stripping this purity from the memory, and usually doesn’t take long to set up camp, constructing more of the same destructive mechanisms … planting them in the brain, over-riding the original message we came with.
Living in this environment is not for whimps … and none of us are, for we have prevailed against some very strong forces and are beginning to shine so brightly once again.
Pause, and enjoy this truth as you study your experiences of the last 10 or 20 years and more. Remember, there is always time to take the next step, to grow seeds of peace, to unite with others on similar paths. Sharing wisdom and courage and strength with each other will help everyone involved realize their potential quicker.
Potential … what do you see when you think of that word? Are you envisioning something as big as the world, beneficial for all? Have you learned to see as the eagle does?
