Brief Distraction

Stumbling through the house to check the doors are shut and locked, I pause and I pilfer from my room-mates stash. He’ll never know, right? Oh tiny chocolates you are so warm! I can hardly get you out of your package intact. But once I do, look out, you’ll disappear quite quick!

Waking in the middle of the night with words like apathy in mind I need a little pick-me-up as I consider daily life on this planet. I sure wish more people cared about the bigger issues, I wish the definition of what the bigger issues are was the same for more of us.

There’s a lot of hype about important events, while even more desperate scenarios are churning under our noses. Distracted, many do not see … and it may be too late by the time they do.

But back to this chocolate … and back to bed I go.
