… Or is it?

We’ve seen many people lose their lives for telling the truth, or for the intention of telling the truth. There is a long list of these people, and to name only a few … Ruqia Hassan; Don Bolles; Syed Salem Shahzad; Seth Rich; Serena Shim; Justice Antonio Scalia.
Others who are still living: Julian Assange; Edward Snowden; John Bolenbaugh; Spc. Bryan O’Neal; Judge Jean-Marc Connerotte; Erin Brockovich; Dane Wigington; Barrie Trower.
It seems that those who wish for the truth to be known are intensely gone after by those in the darkness in order to silence them. Those who live in shadows wish to stay this way and anyone threatening to bring their dirty deeds into the open is often killed, threatened, and chased around, lives made miserable by the constant harassment and threat.
Stories are spun about those who wish to have a transparent and safer space to live, those who risk their own lives to bring light into the world.
Truth seekers, and truth bearers, are often forced to live a life on the run, and/or life with continuous threat. Their lives may be slandered by others, making many believe they are telling falsehoods, conspiracy theorists, paranoid. Often these same people wind up dead, and ridiculous tales of ‘suicide’ are told about their demise.
It is important to glean information from many sources before making a personal opinion. Too many instance have been proven to be surrounded by lies, and it becomes known at a later date that sinister workings are ‘working hard’ to keep their shadow world hidden.
Fear is birthed in the lives of many, in those who wield the truth and move forward despite the threats, and in those who see what happens to truth tellers and remain silent.
There are the doers, despite the risks, and there are the ones who remain silent, even amid the ‘stories’ which they know to be false.
Where is the line nowadays? The balance is shifting, even while some may think it is not … thanks to the courageous ones who give their lives for truths sake, for the betterment of the world… for ALL life.
