Moving Forward, Practicing Release

Published June 2, 2018 by tindertender

While threatening behavior is followed by apology, it isn’t so easy to move beyond it. At one time it may have felt that suffering was deserved. It was not understood why it had to be that way, all that had ever been wanted was to love and be loved.

Step-Families come and go, nothing steady, supportive, or nourishing. Chaos has been part of life, as it was constantly disrupted and altered … for a time, until next time.

Children who experience these things grow to think it’s their fault, one parent or both in emotional pain, and the empathic child takes it on, wearing it as if it were their own.

Burdens inherited become habits.

Habits are meant to be broken.

Break the cycle and embrace your capacity for nurturing and caring … for self, for others, for the entirety of the world. It is you … and you … and you, who will heal this planet. When you finally let go of old habits taught, and build the life you’ve always wanted, the earth, and all who dwell here, will benefit.

No one has a more special gift to offer than you … none more than, none less than. True courage comes from looking long and hard at personal history. Take a look at past responses, and actions, and ways of thinking. Listen once more to the things people have said.

Move forward … carefully, purposefully, consciously aware and connected to everything that is. If you choose, create from this space, with loving intention for health, well-being, and an end of suffering for all.
