Who Makes Your “I AM” Statements?

How much longer are you going to let someone else determine what your “I AM …” statements are going to be?

Throughout life ~ as children, young adults, adults ~ you may have listened and taken to heart what others say of you. “You’re too fat …You’re too skinny … You’re too loud, You’re selfish … You’re this … or that … or you have no capacity for this or for that, or you’ll never amount to anything … Whatever it is … most often it is negative.

How long are you going to believe this crap? How many more days, months, years are you going to allow these phrases to repeat in your mind, the memory of them kept alive? How much of your precious time and attention will you let them steal from you?

Stand in your authority! Take charge of what you will allow in your mind! The only way to do this is to counter the bad phrases with positive ones. CHOOSE to say something different. Tell those crap memories your mind keeps giving you (or present verbal vomit) they are no longer permitted to have space in your head! Show them what IS allowed, and repeat it as often as need be. Eventually, those who have planted these bad seeds in your mind will begin to quiet. At some point you will recognize your power.

No one has the right to tell you what your “I AM … ” phrases will be. You are not obligated to believe ANY of them that are given to you! YOU decide what you are made of, what you are capable of, and what you will create in your world. Everything you need is within you, do not doubt it.

The future is yours …

I AM
