Everyone wishes to be heard, even the quiet ones. Various circumstances in life will contribute to how well one is able to exert themselves in speaking up. There may be doubt as to whether what they have to say is significant or not, depending on the responses they receive.
Truth is, all people are on a journey of self discovery, finding balance in the role they play within the universe.
There is an authority which speaks through every … single … person. Some have been on the journey of understanding for 2 years, some for 10 years, and others for 15+ years, and then there are those who have been on the path even longer. Still, this authority is within each of them, with varying levels of knowledge wishing to be shared with others who may have no other way of hearing but through the mouth of another human, and the ear they were born with.
I ask, is there truly such a thing as oneness? Or is this just an explanation which is used to get people to relinquish their personality traits as insignificant? Sometimes this is how it is read, and perhaps it is only in the presentation of the topic.
There are some who feel powerless. Life throws them topsy turvy every which way. Instantly they may wonder what they did to deserve this treatment which may cause them pain. Empowerment … this is where a good teacher will build on the confidence of people.
There are indeed many old patterns which must be stripped away in order to make room for more positive, stronger perspectives. There is a way to do this without talking down to a person though. It’s a slippery slope, this teaching without stripping one of personal significance.
The beauty in sharing of knowledge is in the allowing, of letting the example presented be adapted as seen fit by the individual … as much as, or as little as, they are comfortable with at the time. All good ideas are best when they seem as if they are our own.
When people come together with the common understanding that power meshes … the power in you, the power in me, that power becomes we, created by the bits of you and me and others … all of the traits that one may have great strength in, while another individual has great strength in another area of life … shared between us the whole becomes very strong, much stronger that were we to remain alone.
So … some call it Oneness, some call it Unity, some call it The Whole … I prefer the latter for it speaks to me of every individual with their varying strengths brought together in conscious cooperation for the benefit of all.
Every person is in their own space of the journey. All are doing what is necessary for their growth at the moment, even if it is not obvious to the outsider looking in. Sharing information, not as an authority (for none of us are) helps to lift each other, should a rising be chosen. Perhaps something I share makes you go AH HA!!! and perhaps something you share with me makes me do the same.
Wonderful exchanges such as these will send us all on an upward spiral as we fling the old out and away, and embrace the new which gives us wings (so to speak).
