Fuzz Filled Colors

Published December 21, 2017 by tindertender

flowersPurple locket, fallen to earth.
Picture within tells of love, long ago.
Paper box, folded and tucked,
Hollow inside, seeing right through it
Air flows.
Pink, bulky, fuzzy sock on the bench,
What does it hold inside?
Song sung, peace wrung,
Squeezed so tightly it seems none is left.
Bells are jingling,
A happy one arrives.
Smile creeps in where once
Were rigid lines.
Edges lift, they don’t quite stick,
The message is still clear.
