Shadow Land

If it weren’t so serious it would be comical. “HA!”, she laughs. Two sides of the coin. Are there always two side to the coin?

Life is incredible. We come into it and we are impressed and molded with the state of the world. We get to know it intimately, and then we transform the training of current reality, altering habits, and create a NEW reality into which others are born.

Outer change of the ‘big picure’ begins with alchemy of self.

There is no ‘going backwards’, there is only release of that which is not benefitting life. Utilization of what works while honoring the sacred, we build a new future.

As in part one of a movie series, what was in the beginning outshines what comes after, realizing this, it becomes the favored.

She dreams, her breath comes deep and her feet move as she lives in the unseen world. She stops … resting once again. He says, “I’m the idiot …”, and she says, “NO … I do not claim it, and I do not perceive it to be you.” She breathes as she watches the night behind closed eyes. He continues, “… a terrible mistake.” She wonders who they speak of when they say, ‘Jacobs family’.

Jacob experienced a vision of a ladder, or staircase, reaching into heaven with angels going up and down it, commonly referred to as “Jacob’s Ladder”. He heard the voice of God, who repeated many of the blessings upon him, coming from the top of the ladder.
According to Midrash Genesis Rabbah, the ladder signified the exiles that the Jewish people would suffer before the coming of theJewish Messiah: the angels that represented the exiles of Babylonia, Persia, and Greece each climbed up a certain number of steps, paralleling the years of the exile, before they “fell down”; but the angel representing the last exile, that of Edom, kept climbing higher and higher into the clouds. Jacob feared that his descendants would never be free of Esau’s domination, but God assured him that at the End of Days, Edom too would come falling down.

It is so difficult to see what our governing bodies have allowed to happen in this world, to know the harms they have permitted to come to all life. Greed and the need for power are so ugly, and all the while they smile as though they are helping people, helping the animals, the land and the sea … the air we breathe, cleansed by failing forests which are depleted from destructive land usage.
