This photo was taken this morning after processing only 3 gallons of tap water. I have a filter on my faucet which is supposed to reduce impurities, such as: Lead, Chlorine, Disinfectant products (Trihalomethanes – TTHM’s), Asbestos, Benzene, Carbon tetrachloride, Chlorobenzene, o-Dichlorobenzene, Ethylbenzene, Styrene, Tetrachlorobethylene, Toluene, Trichloroethylene, Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs), as well as many pesticides and herbicides, the list is long.
I, like many people, chose to believe my drinking water was safe. This photo states otherwise. My new distiller also has an activated charcoal filter at the end process which takes out even more chemicals.
I have made two batches of ice cubes using the distilled water. The first batch had me baffled as when I went to take them out of the trays and put into my bucket, several ice cubes had popped out of the trays while freezing. I made the second batch yesterday afternoon and last night went to retrieve an ice cube, and lo and behold, the cubes were popping out of the trays again. I am left to conclude that the elimination of these products makes the water a bit ‘slippery’, or however a proper terminology would describe it.
The two photos below show that the water reaches upward while freezing, and the white tray shows a missing, popped out, cube and well as one cube that has tried to lift from the space it holds.
Many have said that these distillers are too expensive. I agree, they are very expensive. However, when you consider the health benefits, the reduced cost of medical care needed due to your body not having this crap-ola in it makes one (at least me) feel that the cost is well worth it. It is also possible to build your own distiller, which I did while waiting for this one. I simply used my pressure canner and a bucket and some copper tubing (seals and such).
Please consider carefully what you are ingesting, and also, what your children are ingesting. This “stuff” can cause serious health issues.
“Even tap water invariably contains a variety of poisons such as chlorine, chloramine, asbestos, pesticides, fluoride, copper; mercury, and lead. The best way to remove all these contaminants is by distilling.” – HOW to Save Your Teeth: Toxic-Free Preventive Dentistry by Dr David Kennedy, D.D.S.
“Water hardness (inorganic minerals in solution) is the underlying cause of many, if not all, of the diseases resulting from poisons in the intestinal tract. These (hard minerals) pass from the intestinal walls and get into the lymphatic system, which delivers all of its products to the blood, which in turn, distributes to all parts of the body. This is the cause of much human disease. ” – Dr Charles Mayo of the Mayo Clinic.
“The only type of water that seems to befit for consumption is distilled water; which is water that is absolutely free of any minerals or chemicals. Distilled water is made pure by just being heated to. the point of vaporization, so that all of the ‘impurities’ are left behind. Then the water vapor is condensed. The process results in water that is in its purest form. Distillation is the single most effective method of water purification. ” – A Diabetic Doctor Looks at Diabetes by Dr Peter A. Ludewick, M.D.
“Distilled water acts as a solvent in the body. It dissolves food substances so they can be assimilated and taken into every cell. It dissolves inorganic mineral substances lodged in tissues of the body so that such substances can be eliminated in the process of purifying the body. .. By its continued use, it is possible to dissolve inorganic minerals, acid crystals and all the other waste products of the body without injuring tissues. ” – The Choice is Clear by Dr Allen E. Banik, O.D.
“Distilled water… acting almost like a magnet, it picks up rejected, discarded and unusable minerals and, assisted by the blood and lymph, carries these to the lungs and kidneys for elimination from the body. Referring to the elimination of these damaging minerals as a leaching out of minerals is erroneous … It doesn’t leach out minerals that have become part of the cell structure … It collects and removes only minerals that have already been rejected or excreted by the cells. ” – Fit for Life 11: Living Health by Harvey & Marilyn Diamond
