Back On Track, Thinking of The Keeper of the Flame

Published April 21, 2016 by tindertender

After only a week and a half, I’m waking at 3:30 – 4 am again. I’ll still set the alarm, just in case, but I think all is well.

Keeper … what does this mean?

keeper of flame

This is an interesting picture of a Flame Keeper. But again, what does this mean?

I’m the keeper of the flame
My torch of love lights his name
Ask no pity, beg my shame
I’m the keeper of the flame

Played with fire and I was burned
Gave a heart but I was spurned
All this time how I have yearned
Just to have my love return

Years have passed by
The spark still remains
True love can’t die
It smolders in flames

When the fire is burning out
And the angels call my name
Dying love will leave no doubt
And I’m the keeper of the flame

Years have passed by
The spark still remains
True love can’t die
It smolders in flame

When the fire is burning out
And the angels call my name
Dying love will leave no doubt
And I’m the keeper of the flame

Dying love will leave no doubt
That I’m the keeper of the flame.

Beautiful song lyrics. It seems we all have this spark, this flame within us. How do we connect to it. How do we understand what it means for us to behold such a gift?

I’ve found a site that states the Keeper of the Blue Flame can be described as:

Protector of the Freedom Plan, The Uncloaked Wonder Worker, The Defender of God’s Holiness, The Transmitter of Light from the Second Chohan, The Proclaimer of Splendor, The Divine Mystery Laborer, The Custodian of the Sacred Word, The Pointer to the Truth of the Higher Way, Master of Transformation, Eye of Light, and Intense Expression of Will.

Seems this is a good subject. Are you a Keeper of the Flame? What color is yours?
